A nice spot for inexpensive Japanese food. It?s not great, but it?s not bad. Food is priced fairly for the quality. Good... middle-of-the-road fish is used in the sushi, but the rice was a touch stale. The karaage had a nice spicy kick in the sauce. Weenjoyed the tempura. The Goma-ae (spinach with peanut sauce) was just okay. We wouldn?t go out of our way to dine here, but ifyou?re in the neighbourhood it?s an acceptable option. Read more
Highlights are the Salmon and sashimi portions. Could do better on the special rolls. They were covered in sauce overpowering... the roll and lead to soggy rolls by the time I got them home. Read more
Come here a couple times. I wouldn't recommend any sushi I'm aldergrove to be quite honest. Probably the 3rd time I've gotten... Avocado roll with is all brown on the inside. Not brown because of oxidation.. but because it's old. Tired of driving all theway back, just to get more brown Avocado. ???? Read more
I saw someone else say they joke about calling this place gas station sushi and we do too but it is so good!!! Prices are very... reasonable, staff are very friendly and most importantly food is delicious and potions are appropriate. One of my faves. Read more
A very surprising experience. Was not sure what to expect from a sushi store in a gas station but thought we?d give a try. I?m... glad we did. Some of the best sushi I?ve had recently. We jokingly call this place "gas station sushi", but it's really just a sushi restaurant attached to a gas station. They have... online ordering, which makes it really easy. This is hands down the best sushi in the area! The Lion King roll is a must try.It's delicious and will single-handedly bring me back for more. The California roll was average. The spicy salmon roll would bebetter if the spicy sauce was mixed in, rather than just squirted on top, in my opinion. Read more
One of my favorite sushi places EVER! I used to go here all the time when I had a friend who lived in Aldergrove. I haven't been... here in 2 years but it's just as good as ever! The ladies who work here are super sweet and lovely. Service is always prompt andvery fast! I always get the same thing, spicy tuna karaage and the ichiban roll. I have never seen a single other sushirestaurant make tuna karaage, it's usually always chicken! Fantastic food, I wish it wasn't so out of the way for me now! Was very upset to find out that the soya sauce was watered down which i had verified by asking if they were trying a new soya or... its watered down, her reply way just a little bit water. I purchase food there often normally good but watering down our soyasauce is beyond excitable to myself, it was like coloured salt no flavour. If I attend this place ever again is up for debate,if i do i will be bring my own soya just in cause. Read more
