Unfortunately very disappointed in the lack of service we received. We waited over an hour for our food. After an hour we had... asked how much longer it would be as our four young children were hungry and getting antsy. We were understanding of whateverwas happening in the kitchen. However along with several other people we to had to walk out and resort to something else. Afterreading some of the other reviews I can see that this has been an ongoing issue. I do hope they can get it together real soon.Aledo is small and word gets around quick, that could be bad for business. Read more
So, I wanted to love this place. It's a great location, building has a great look from the outside... and there is really... nothing else around for competition. But disappointed I am. I ordered St Patty Day to go--- It was alright, not great but hey,I give credit when it's TO-GO. So went back with my mom & sister for Brunch. Lady's Brunch! BAD CALL. The mimosa flights? Theserver couldn't even remember what the flavors were and was listing flavors not even on the menu, when it was sat on the table,she looked and saw something floating in one of them- Gross! Flavor was disappointing, couldn't barely tell any champagne wasin them. We asked for butter or jelly for an english muffin, it never came and when asked, the server in her sarcastic tonejust shrugged her shoulders and said, oh yeah I forgot. She had sarcastic comments for our orders as well. I'm good with somehumor but not when you don't deliver service and then the food is low average at best. The interior feels confused, like theycan't really figure out what exact style they are going for. I can tell you if you're wanting the higher end, nice modernfarmhouse vibe... I recently went here an over heard the manger telling a bartender if she ?dressed like a girl and lost weight? she?s make way... more tips. As someone who works in the restaurant industry this is definitely not okay to ever tell an employee. Definitely willnever return an I suggest y?all don?t either. Stopped by after a nice Saturday cruise had the short ribs wife had the chicken fried chicken. Food was great very flavorfull,... hot, and well seasoned. My server Austin was great friendly over all cool guy. Staff was dope as well yall should definitelycome here! Read more
First time trying this place...went to their new brunch. If I told you the things we encountered on this visit, you wouldn't... believe me. Food was very average but over priced for what you get. I understand increases in costs of food recently but evenwith that, it's too much for what you get. Service was "interesting" and we will leave it at that. This building is good and itis a great location. Someone with real restaurant experience could really have a goldmine in this place if it was donecorrectly. Read more
This was our first time ever eating here. I read people talking about how great it was on Facebook but it was disgusting. I spit... my food out on my napkin. It was the cod and by far the worst I?ve ever had and I?ve traveled all over the United States. Theserver was great. Drinks were bad. Way overpriced. Would I eat here again?, never. I think the only reason people said it was sogreat is because there are barely any restaurants in this small town. So I guess they meant it?s better than Sonic but I stillthink Sonic is better. Lovely place with nice ambiance and very nice staff. The food is mostly good and reasonably priced. I went in this past week and... I have to say, the fryer oil needs to be changed. The chips that came with my meal tasted a bit like old oil. Other than thatanomaly, I have had a good experience each time I have eaten there. It is one of my favorite places to go in town. Read more
