Unfortunately I will not be returning to this waffle house. I went there today for my son's graduation breakfast for him. It was... just us two and another gentleman sitting in the restaurant. There were 3 people working. After we ordered, I received my foodabout 5-7 minutes before my son. They then brought his food out without his hash browns he ordered. I gave it a bit, tried togive the benefit of the doubt that they were still cooking. When I finally inquired about them, my waitress was claimed wehadn't ordered it and then made it VERY clear that it was stressing her out and tried to make it seem as if we were such aninconvenience by huffing very loudly before putting a new order in for the hash browns. I HATE any form of rudeness to ourservice industry. So I didn't say anything, we got our hash browns about another 7 minutes later. I did not tip, which I hate todo. But I will not enable bad service. This was a special event for my son and you should not provide bad service and expectpeople to pay the same price as if they got good service. The waitress and waiter were only responsible for two people in thewhole restaurant. Tell your waiter to get off his phone and do his job if y'all need help. There's no reason someone's diningexperience that they are PAYING FOR gets put second to someone's time sitting on their phone. I've worked as a waitress, so Ihave all the patience, but that also means I know when someone is understaffed and trying their hardest, and when a team is notutilizing themselves to the fullest. Staff was extremely helpful and promptly prepared my food to order when I entered the restaurant at 3:30am after work. The... server actually gave an idea for some food that she has made in the past and got good reviews from the people that ate it. Read more
