Had the Pork Tacos al pastor with Charro Beans and rice for dinner while out with a coworker and his wife. Best tacos ever!!!... Three flour tortillas stuffed each with a cup or more of seasoned pork! Seriously the best pork tacos I have ever had, nojoke. Couldn't stop thinking about them so I went back for lunch the next day and ordered them again. What a disappointment. This time they were loaded with fat. They were still good, though ????. Don't know who was in the kitchen but you need to gofor dinner if you want the great Tacos. Also, add your rice to your Charro Beans along with your onions, cilantro, and pico degallo. Good stuff. Both times the service was awesome and staff was very attentive. Say hello to the lunch chef for me but;if you go for dinner, tip the dinner chef for me. Read more
Service is always good and food is even better! Large portions and the steak is soooo tender (highly recommended).
Absolutely loved this place. All the reviews lead me to this place. Awesome atmosphere with live band, quite loud in there but... very enjoyable. Staff are super helpful and attentive. Food was spectacular. I can't wait to visit here again. Read more
Good food, friendly staff
7-23-22 Came in around 9 P.M. The hostess sat us quickly to our spot and was very cordial. Actually...the staff members that... served us were all very nice and accommodating. The food? I enjoyed my beef enchiladas, A LOT!! The groundbeef waswell-seasoned. Chips and salsa were great/everything was fresh. Great job, Management and staff of El Paso!!! Read more

My husband and I had spent the day in Lake Charles, and came across El Paso. I?m so glad we went in. The place was busy, but the... service, seating, and staff were on top of it. We instantly loved the atmosphere. We noticed it also had a ?Togo? orderingoption. Something called ?waiter?. We started off with the chips and salsa. I?m finicky about salsa being good and this bowlwas to die for. We couldn?t stop eating. We eventually ordered some chorizo queso. Neither of us had ever had it. We?ve foundour new crack. That was the best queso we had ever eaten. Can?t recommend enough. I had steak fajitas and my husband had theburrito. The food was fresh, hot and fast. Not to mention the portions are huge. El Paso has friendly service. It?s clean, andobviously a fav spot of the locals as it was PACKED. Being packed did not seem to slow the staff down. There are wall to walltv?s in both the dining area and the bar. There are so many seating options, that it was easy to sit people. And, did I mentionit was packed! Its my husbands personal favorite Mexican restaurant in and around cenla. Hands down the BEST quality meat of any of the mexican... restaurants for sure. Food is amazing, family friendly, and the margaritas are on par. Basically this is one of the bestrestaurants period in Alexandria. Read more
