Our waitress Ro was awesome,down rt perfect! Personality,great timing just knew when to check on us.Ladies at table next to us... said they ask specifically for her when they come 4 lunch during,the week. We will make sure we request her section nexttime,very impressive, you can tell she lives her job. Now to the food was amazing,you get a basket of fresh bread,cut and aplate of seasoned olive oil to dip your bread in. Very tasty. Next was our choice of appetizer was the Italian nachos,with thecombo of meats cheeses tomatoes and so much more...stellar! The 5 meat Tuscan pasta was out of this world bowtie pasta,freshvegs sauteed to perfection, lightly sauced with 4 viable meats and the meat sauce,so good. I've never been one impressed eatingItalian out ,however NOW I am. I can see us eating lunch here again. Hubby got ice tea that was very freshly brewed tasting,Ijust had water with lemon. They have a huge offering of non alcoholic drink choices as well as wines and liquor. All aroundexcellent place for lunch or dinner,singles,couples or families. Give them a try we are glad we did! Oh my gosh. Food was absolutely delicious but what made this an outstanding experience was Mary, our waitress. What a fabulous... personality. She was extremely personable and knew her menu inside out. Her recommendations were very detailed and she did notsteer us wrong. All her selections were awesome. Young lady that was our waitress was also making the drinks and handling other tables. (I wish I would remember her name!) She... was so spectacular !! Very outgoing and just a ray of light!! Second time giving this restaurant a chance. Never ever coming back again! First time was during covid so we thought maybe... that?s why it was bad so gave it another shot. Mainly was ticked off by the customer service. As soon as we were seated. I askedfor a cup if warm water. Was told nope all we have is room temp. Asked if it would be possible to warm it up somehow said nope!Gave us the menus and just stands there. We asked for a few mins with the menu and the waiter goes that?s fine I?ll wait.Proceeds to wait AT THE TABLE!!! My husband felt pressured and just picked something random and I said I?m sorry I can?t thinkso fast please give me a few mins alone with the menu. The waiter says sure not a problem and just waits at the table clickinghis pen. Doesn?t even step away a foot or anything?just right at the table. I was irritated and just picked something so hewould just leave us alone at this point. Few mins go by and I was curious if we get salad with our entrees so I ask the samewaiter if I could see a menu again (didn?t want to ask him) he straight out asks why? I was flabbergasted!!! Why I want to seethe menu at a restaurant?!? Are u serious? He finally gets me the menu. I confirm that all entrees come with a salad. So we?rewaiting for our salads and the waiter just brings us our entrees so I inquire ?don?t our entrees come with a salad? And thewaiter goes ?well, you didn?t ask for it? seriously a customer needs to ask for the salad that comes with a entree?!? all in allthe worst experience I?ve EVER had at a restaurant!! Let me start off by saying the service was great our waitress was great now the food on the other hand was awful very... disappointed steak was like chewing on cold cardboard/ Mozzarella sticks was frozen and the Spaghetti was nothing to write hometo mom about the sweet tea and ribs was the best part of my night they were good. And I did enjoy the desert. (Management ofjohnny carino's reached out and that speaks volumes that they care about their customers. We were so happy to find a Carino?s on our route from New Orleans, and I couldn?t wait to have some Italian nachos! Amanda was... our server, and she took great care of us. We had the nachos, Pecan Chicken Salad, and the classics Grilled Chicken BowtieFestival. Everything came out perfectly timed and delicious. We were greeted by the chef and crew during our meal to make sureeverything was good, and it was! This will be a new stop for us, and I look forward to our next visit.
