I made the rookie mistake of not calling ahead for a reservation. Being an out-of-towner, I quickly learned this as soon as we... walked in. But the waitress, sharp as a tack, said, "Wait 10 minutes. That couple over there will be done, then you can get thattable." I knew she also meant (but didn't say), "And hopefully you don't take too long, so I can turn it over to the reservedguest." 10 minutes on the dot, the table was cleared and we were sitting down. 5 stars just for that awesome waitress who madeour date great and not sour! Our party made reservations and was seated right away - AWESOME that's the last good thing we have to say about this place. Our... waitress took our orders for drinks and disappeared for 30mins. Well no she didn't disappear she passed our table about 4 timesnever updated us and certainly didn't acknowledge the time that had passed. After she completely ignored our efforts to see whatwas going on we decided to leave. We then went somewhere else that stated they would seat us right away. I never have left a bad restaurant review before. The mashed and potatoes were gummy and flavorless. They need to season the... steaks. So bland! The only item that was really good is the French onion soup and our beers. The waitress was outstandingconsidering it was only her 2nd day on the job. We will chalk this up to a disappointment since we only came in for chickenwings which was strange they were out of. Should have taken that as our clue to leave, but the other reviews had us believingthis was a good steak house. Sooo wrong!! Not worth the money! Read more
We love this place and try to dine in once a month if we can. The food is always amazing and the prices for the portions you... receive are worth it. I personally love the macho nachos and my husband loves the Inn burger. Staff is always personable andfriendly. Highly recommend! Read more
This is our second visit to Interlachen and both times were equally pleasant. The food was good, we especially like the sirloin... and pan fried walleye. Jim also liked his drink, creamy cat...a dessert drink. It would have been nice if the steak knives weresharp. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with drinks and the menu. We recommend this restaurant for a nice eveningdinner. Read more
