There is no friendlier waitress then the owner's wife, she has the patience of a saint and always goes above and beyond to make... everyone feel like they're fat. The ambiance inside the restaurant was beautiful. The food was very good (though the lamb was slightly overcooked). The service... was unfortunately slow and below par. Additionally, it was difficult to relax on an important family evening as some of the waitstaff was, unfortunately, not masked, even though we were indoors. Would give 4 stars just for food, 5 stars for the ambiance,and 1 star (or less) for the service and safety, which averages out to about 2 stars. Read more
It was so nice to be able to visit one of my personal favorites again.. The food was superb. The steak cooked to perfection, I... highly recommend the escargot cooked European style with a garlic herb butter sauce. We have gone there for many years. The service and food are always top notch. Heinz takes care about the details as well as... first rate main courses and desserts: try the escargots, salads with quail eggs, French onion soup, schnitzel, carrot cake.Lunches are nice too. Read more

Heinz has been cooking only the best for years, no wonder Austrian chefs such a great reputation in Europe. For now, there is no... lunchtime menu is actually The evening menu is a bit more elaborate, which is should be as we have more time after the workday! The ambiance and quality of the food leave nothing to chance. I have always loved the French Onion soup. Since the 1980's Ihave yet to taste a soup at The Georgian that I did not enjoy immediately- even tomato soup ( dates from childhood ) but eventhe tomato soup is exquisitely savoury.
