Update: went back a week later because why not? Ambiance and staff was still great. Tried the carne asada fijitas and tacos this... time. Food: Carne asada fajita and tacos - appetizing. Drinks: Frozen pineapple margarita and regular margarita on the rocks:mouth watering. Tried dessert this time around: coconut flan - MIND BLOWING!!!!!! Another update: The crowds have died down butthe food and service are still good. Finally got to check out this place after a month of being open. Had a fantastic dinnerhere. The food is so fresh and delicious and best of all, it tastes home made. The drinks were very good and the staff wasamazing. The ambiance is also very warm and welcoming. They will ne opening up their patio once it warms up and it's going to bea hit. Can't wait to go back! Hope everything stays the same. Highly recommended. Read more

Orlando and the staff are rock stars. All the different ceviches they serve our wonderful and done right. the 8 different... ceviches are between 12 and 14 dollars. And honestly with the quality of seafood in the presentation and so forth you'd expectto pay 16 -18 dollars for this. Below is a picture of the octopus ceviche accompanied with a pickled onion salad, a dollop of aspicy pepper puree, chopped sweet potato , avacado and a ramekin of a wonderful vinaigrette with just a hint of lemon. Anotherappetizer we love is their fresh fried calamari always super tender and never chewy for 10 bucks that's accompanied by ahomemade marinara and a thousand island ish sauce. At 2 Jefes their meat quality is very good. Honestly when I go to Tex-Mexplaces and have fajitas I stay away from the (beef) carne asada because it's either too fatty, too chewy or just not a goodpiece of meat. At two Jefes when I'm looking at any type of meat dish I'm looking straight at the beef dishes ..... Whether it'stheir street tacos, the street burrito, fajitas or The ranchero New York strip steak topped with chopped onion peppers and ahint of garlic at 24 bucks the meat is always cooked properly on their flame grill which gives the meat just a little hint ofchar. Which just adds to the flavor. The bottom line is that everything we've had is always been just a little bit better thaneverybody else out there in a Tex-Mex world. They just give it a little extra effort to make the dishes just a little bit moreflavorful and enjoyable..... For example they're refried beans are made in house from beans that are smashed and seasonedinhouse and not like everybody else straight out of the freaking can supplied by Sysco. Keep up the good work and we'll beseeing you soon, maybe even tomorrow. Read more

Seems like a new build location, full bar, friendly staff and willing to help with all dining needs, clean. As for food, it's... average, no wow factor in taste or presentation. Seems to be on low salt side to the point that it's affecting taste, I canclearly see the effort put towards proper spice use "I don't judge food taste from fajitas but rather from more complex dishes"so could use more improvement in that section. Over all its a decent place to eat would rate 3.5 for taste and around 4 foreverything else. Read more

Oh my gosh this place is SOOOO GOOOOD!!! I moved here from Texas and I have not been able to find anything decent for a looong... time. Finally, 2 Jefes opened and it's not just legit, it tastes like home. ???? ? I can't eat anywhere else for Mexican. Andgood service! They accidentally gave me cheese instead of a chicken enchilada and they brought it so quickly. Bonus! The staffand owner are super friendly and gracious. Went back another night and got the fajitas. Portion was a bit small, but besttasting fajitas I've had in years, including in Texas. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy~~ Read more

In the first month of being open, so I'm sure this place will continue to grow and improve with time. Solid tex-mex with decent... drinks. We ordered various large margaritas and they were nice. Chimichanga comes lightly fried, which is a little unusual, andonly ok. We'll be back to try other dishes! Second visit: Brunch! The steak marinade is just like my dad's, so good! Mimosaswere perfectly balanced, not too much juice. When we were there, someone ordered the fajitas. They looked, smelled, and SOUNDEDamazing. Will be what we try next time, for sure. Read more
