I have been here in the past a couple times to have a drink outside! So nice out there. I really love the ambiance and location.... Drinks are good and food is AMAZING, the tuna tartare and pretzels, wow. Very hard to make something so simple be so delicious!Table service was truly on point. Our server checked on us frequently and never let our water glass go empty. I need to startcoming back here more often, totally underrated. Ordered takeout here and was very impressed with the food quality. It is extremely rare to find a salmon dinner this size at... just over $20. I typically don’t order salmon because it’s pretty easy to make at home but this was super tasty and cookedperfectly. Medium well, tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. All of the sides we ordered were also decent sized portionsand tasted really good. I tend to set a pretty low bar these days for takeout orders and don’t often review them becausethey’re usually disappointing but this place was definitely worth talking about. Busy Sunday but the service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. The wings was different....blu cheese flavored and... it was so good. I don't eat mussels but they have a bunch of different ways they are made and I heard it's delicious! Read more

This place has legit wings. Best I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot of wings. Plus excellent dog friendly patio seating,... friendly attentive bartender. Great vibes and decent prices for the area! Happy hour 3-6pm $8 for 6 delicious wings. Read more

My husband and I loved this bar! We stopped in for a quick bite and we really enjoyed it. We shared their platter and had a... glass of wine. The food is so good here! Way better than either of us expected! The restaurant is clean and there’s plenty ofseating. The bathrooms are also very clean which is also a plus. Went there twice on our short trip to Alexandria because we loved our first experience so much. While the second time we were... seated in a street tent and the service seemed to be a bit negligent (they forgot to bring a side, although the server wasgenuinely apologetic for this matter), we absolutely loved the place. The mussels and their namesake platter are both to diefor. Try rosé mussels! If you can, get into their heated patio. If there’s a wait, it’s worth the wait. Great selection ofbeers, plus wines and cocktails. Relaxed and friendly, with the vibe resembling beer gardens in Europe. Read more

Awesome selection of mussels (classic and unique styles), nice draft/cocktails/wine menu, attentive service, and wonderful... outdoor patio. We came with friends to enjoy a dinner on their heated, outdoor patio. It was about low 40s and they hadmultiple overhead heaters on; we all had hats and thick jackets and were generally warm, though I highly recommend bringing ablanket or dressing very warmly if it’s anything below 50. The heaters are warm, but only do so much as the area is entirelyexposed. Food: I had the French onion soup for appetizer, which was warm, perfectly sized, and delicious. I enjoyed the SpicyGrapefruit mussels for dinner; while the grapefruit wasn’t apparent, they tasted delicious and had great spice to them! All ofthe mussels were edible and not a single tasted grainy or rubbery. They obviously know how to cook mussels and cook them well,and have a great supplier! Friends had the pretzels, hot chicken tenders, hot chicken sandwich, and the curry mussels. The currywas delicious and perfectly seasoned. I’m not a fan of hot/spicy chicken, so I didn’t get a chance to try it but my friendssaid it was great! Drinks: we split some bottles of wine and others had some beers. The menus are pretty good with plenty ofoptions for both. There was also a good selection of cocktails, but we didn’t have any. Service: service was great! We werechecked on often without it feeling overbearing. When we requested a few additional things with the meal, they were quick tobring them out to us. The food runners were a bit reluctant to help but it wasn’t an issue and I’m sure they werebusy. Ambiance: the inside has a great bar area and plenty of seating. The outdoor patio is year round and just as awesome,with a bar and a picnic table style seating area as well. Overall, recommend for the great mussels! Maybe a bit overpriced butit’s Alexandria and the food was worth the cost. Will be back! Read more
