Came back again this past week! Sure enough, Mr.Derara had me made another good tuna sub & crispy fries! Perfect!!! Well done!... {This might become a weekly thing for me, eh?!} ???????????? ????? Real cool little sandwich place! In a corner of a smallshopping level, with plenty of parking, that you don?t even know is here! ???? I had a great tuna sub, with fresh fixings, anda huuuge side of crispy ???? french fries. Really delish, on a perfectly set 8inch bun that had just the right amount ofmayonnaise and seasoning in the tuna. Fries not overly cooked, totally made right. All served up by my Nepal ???????? friend whohas owned this fine place for about 1/2 a year. The drink dispenser had just run out of ice ???? unfortunately. So graciously Iwas offered a cold bottle of choice from the cooler. With a short stint of news on the television above, the quiet meal turnedmy difficult day around. Given the other patrons, mostly working men (a few women did do some take-out) sitting a spell andeating rightly, I figured the secret now has got to be put out there! ???? First time ordering!! We ordered a lot and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food, but I got the chili and cheese fries(... fire), 4 strips of bacon(fire), side salad ( fire), Cheesecake ( terrible) the crust was soggy, the top of the slice was hardand it was bit spongey vs. Creamy. And for my main course... the fish filet sub (absolutely disappointing) there was thiscardboard thin piece of fish that was burnt to a crisp. Luckily I got the bacon and put it on my sub which then became a B.L.T.Fish crisp sub! This utterly hurt my feelings and ruined my dinner!! Read more
The service was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My family was on vacation and wanted basic pizza without the gourmet... frills. The large was $15 and medium was $12. Our bill with drinks was under $35 for 5 people and we left well fed. Don'tforget the tip jar. Read more
First time ordering from Franconia Pizza! Great customer service! I?m from PA and today is Valentine?s Day and my mom (widower)... lives in VA. I wanted to send her some good food and Franconia Pizza was able to deliver! I ordered a #3 Calzone and addedveggies, chicken wings, onion rings, tiramisu and cheesecake! The meat on the spaghetti and meatballs looks charred and like they just rolled up some old hamburger. School lunch spaghetti... and meatballs looks more appetizing. The pizza was about the same school lunch quality. Small salad was decent. Jalapeno popperswere ok. Like bad bar food ok. Even my 6 year old hates the spaghetti sauce. Read more
Even though its a pizza spot, I usually go for breakfast along with a lot of my coworkers. They have breakfast sandwiches,... french toast and pancakes, omelettes, homefries and more. I tried the breakfast sandwich and homefries and it was just soo good.My coworker raves about their french toast and it looked really great. I definitely recommend giving them a try. They havedifferent breakfast hours during the week (7:30 AM-10 AM) than they do on the weekend (9 AM-11 AM) .
