We normally have wonderful experiences here; hence the 3 stars. We went this evening and arrived at 6:40. The restaurant had... people there, but was by no means busy. We received our appetizer quickly, but with no plates and asked for plates, but neverreceived them. We ordered beers on tap from the bar and it took 10+ minutes to receive the first round. The wrong drink orderwas brought to us, after the waiter clarified our order with us twice. We put in our food order and waited an hour, but neverreceived it. After another 30+ minutes, we ordered a second round of drinks and it took over 20 minutes to receive them. We cameto watch a specific game and asked to have it put on the TV. It took over 20 minutes and then our waiter told us that themanager was busy and couldn?t change the TV for us. After over an hour, at 8:15, we couldn?t find our waiter and inquired fromsomeone else about our food. Our original waiter came out and told us that ?it never appeared on the screen in the kitchen? andasked us again what we ordered. We cancelled the order and asked for the bill. It took 15 minutes to receive the bill and it waswrong?the waiter took one of the drinks off of the final bill, but the service was absolutely horrendous. We ended up orderingfood from the noodles and company next door and went home to eat it instead. Really disappointed in our visit overall. Me and my husband came into this glory days on Saturday, we heard great things about it so we just had to give it a chance! Our... server was Will and he did a fantastic job, very attentive and kind. I ordered the KO shrimp while my husband ordered the tripleplay. The tangy fried shrimp was amazing and my husband so happy with his ribs, shrimp, and tenders. Overall it was a greatexperience and I would recommend it to anyone in the Alexandria area to give it a shot! Read more

We decided to try a different location for Glory Days and enjoyed a Friday Fish Fry special on the ooutside terrace on a... beautiful fall day. We waited too long for our server to come to the table and again too long for the check that we had to askfor. The food was delivered piping hot. My drink order was wrong. We will try this location again, and hope for better servicethe next time. Read more
Exactly what you?d expect from a sports bar. Food is solid. We had pretzels, wings, grilled cheese, and a burger that were all... good. The only disappointment was the macaroni and cheese. It had some weird seasoning and wasn?t baked. They sprinkled somecold cheese on top before serving. Even then it wasn?t terrible, just not very good. I wouldn?t order it again. Our server wasvery nice, I only wish they would have checked on us a bit more often (it took a while to get one of our drinks and to get thebill). We were there when it was very empty and there was a bit of a wait for some dishes to come out. I?m not sure what itwould be like if it were busy. Good chain restaurant and bar with lots of TVs up. Large outdoor patio that has lots of seating. High tops and low tops. They... often have decent live entertainment on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is a decent consistency and is wellprepared. Two of us went on a Friday night, not packed though. Took at least 10 minutes for us to get a beer on draft and an old... fashioned. Another five minutes to even order our appetizer. After our server had dropped our appetizer, we had to ask for ourown silverware and napkins, as the host and server didn?t think to put any on our table. After we were obviously finished ourappetizer, with an empty plate sitting at the end of the table, we still had to wait even longer to order our entree, even afterhe had stopped at our table once. He said the entrees would take 10-15 minutes. They took at least 20. The server never oncechecked on us and left us alone for much longer than it took to eat. We wanted desert but didn?t want to wait another hour justto finish. All this time out empty used dishes were never bussed and all left on the table while we ate. We ordered a side offries with our wings and never got them. Also extra BBQ sauce and never got it. When we looked for our server he was nowhere tobe seen. The big problem was the server because the knockout shrimp were delicious, and my baby back ribs fell right off thebone. Our server never said his name, however our check had the name Joel on it.
