It's a little hole in the wall place but they have amazing sandwiches and a large variety of beers and even some moonshine. It's... definitely a laid back atmosphere and they have some games like corn hole set up in the patio area. I had the tuna melt and itwas sooo good. I also had the shine mule. Wide selection of drinks, and some fun coctails. The grilled cheese selection was awesome and they tasted so good! A great place... to relax and catch up with friends! Side note: Just be careful if your on the back patio, sometimes the dry cleaners next-doorlet big chuncks of lent fly rather often, so watch your drinks! Read more
One of my absolute favorite spots in Northern Virginia. Amazing wings (I would eat the Old Bay wings DAILY), apps, and specialty... grilled cheeses. This is one of my favorite places to bring visiting friends or get take-out or hang out in the outdoor areawith my pup. Highly recommend. HopsnShine is a cool and kitschy place with lots of grilled cheese specialty sandwiches and ? wait for it? Tatertots. That?s right, friends. I haven?t outgrown them, and neither have you. And they?re DELICIOUS. Crispy and perfect, they?re ataste of carefree childhood. Try the totchos. You won?t regret it. I also tried the Let?s Shroom grilled cheese sandwich, whichwas not as melty as it should have been, but the half I took home was perfection after a few minutes in the air fryer. Now let?stalk booze. The Ruby Red Grapefruit moonshine had just the right combination of infused flavor and a little bit of burn in thethroat. It also was fantastic in the Sunrise Over Del Ray cocktail. DO NOT miss this place. Convenient walk to the Birchmiere... so location is great. It's next to a 7-11. Don't let that fool... you. This place is legit. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Offered water and then a discussion of draft beer options. Cocktails also available as well as food. Food smelled delicious. I can not say enough good things about this local gem. Dontmiss the back patio. Everyone was working / hustling to make this customer experience fantastic. Kudos.!! Read more
My team and I went to Hops N Shine recently for a Happy Hour. We sat in the back of the venue. They have cornhole and a couple... of other games outside. Their staff did a great job recommending beer and food to my group. I tried this Strawberry Cider. I lieto not it was the best Cider I?ve ever had. Aside from the beer options, they have a very diverse grilled cheese menu thatpaired well with the beer & ciders. My group staffed there for about 2.5 hours. My group tried the pretzel and the tatters withbeer cheese. The beer cheese was fantastic. I wish I had pictures but it was finish so fast. I highly recommend this spot. Read more
