If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Other reviews talk about the hospitality and service. Well it’s better than... that. The food? Delicious. Unique. For appetizer, we ordered the crispy eggplant (chickpeas flour battered eggplant,goatcheese, pumpkin seed, tamarind sauce, whipped yogurt). Added a little extra tamarind sauce for sweetness. For entrée, weordered the Ghee Chicken, Royal Nepal’s version of butter chicken (Creamy Cashew, Tomato Gravy Dry Fenugreek, Clarifiedbutter). One of the best dine in experiences in the DMV area. The food is one of the best food I’ve ever had! Very flavorful and... authentic. Great portions. Clean tables and environment and amazing service! It’s my first time trying Nepali food and def notthe last time! I’m going to make sure to bring friends here every time I have visitors. Hubs and I were looking for something different with lots of flavor. We were not disappointed. We tried a little of what we... felt like was everything. Each dish filled our senses like nothing we have had before. In order of the pictures we had WildBoar Royal Briyani, Sukuti Sadheko (water buffalo jerky), Goat Thali, Royal Momo Platter (wild boar, lamb, water buffalo and yakdumplings) and the Goat Bhuttan. Awesome food, great experience and extremely nice service. Loved the great taste. The wide selection of menu item is really... commendable. My favorites are the mo:mo and Buffalo Sukuti. Me and my group ordered various cocktails and we all absolutelyloved it. The ambiance is lovely and the staffs are really friendly and professional. Kudos to owner for his awesomeness.
