This spot has the potential to be so great and the last few months it’s unfortunately gone downhill. I used to love bringing... friends here, but after 2 recent experiences we likely won’t be back for some time. Our server barely spoke to us and we hadto ask 3 times for the check. On top of that, we had the fish tacos that had a 2inch small piece of fish on them for $16. SonomaCellar has a fantastic location and ambiance but it’s hard to justify going back. Read more
This is a cute wine bar and restaurant. The food was delicious and the back patio is quiet and pretty. The wine selection was... decent but we wish they would have had more wines that were actually from California and Sonoma. Service was fast and friendlyearly on Saturday evening. Ordered the salmon, carne asada tacos, beef stroganoff, and Asian lettuce wraps. All good reviewsexcept we wouldn’t recommend the lettuce wraps as it was really just ground turkey and lettuce, and about 8 tiny pepperslices, so that could have used more. Overall it’s a great place. It would be nice if you could create your own wine flightsas opposed to using the preselected options. We were big fans of the Gewurzterminer from the finger lakes though! We came here for an early dinner and had a great time! They gave some great happy hour deals ($2 off wine by the glass, good... small plates). Service was very helpful and friendly. The back patio is a little hidden gem that you wouldn't know existedunless you went into the restaurant. We enjoyed a great wine tasting, along with some wonderful cheese and crostini. We then hadshrimp tacos and the chicken pita, both very good. Finally we split the red wine brownie, which was flavorful and soft of theinside. Absolutely recommend coming in for a glass of vino and some plates right in old town. Read more

Enjoyed a lively supper here on the outside patio. Our visit started with a preying mantis visitor so I knew the dining... experience was going to be great. The shrimp tacos were delicious and while the wine flight wasn’t exchangeable, my companionis allergic to red wine… we throughly enjoyed ourselves. Wine is good. Food is decent. Bartender is rude - don't leave your purse at the bar because she will MOVE it WITHOUT asking you... just because another customer came in wanting to take your spot. I spent $100 all by myself there yet she thinks another newcustomer deserves MY seat. Stop making your customer feel less than the next! Despicable, unacceptable behavior. You shouldNEVER move a customer's belongings without asking, period!!! RUDE. Read more
