They carry an array of Hershey?s ice cream flavors so of course the ice cream is top notch. Their portion sizes are huge, a baby... baby is one scoop after filling the cone. The Gals catered part of our son and daughter-in-law?s rehearsal dinner and everyone raved about the food! The prices were... reasonable and the food outstanding. They are so much more than an ice cream stand, which as we know is amazing. We?ve madearrangements with some of the wedding guests to return next year and I?ve already had requests to serve The Gals baked beans,broccoli salad, cole slaw and Chicken Divan again. Friendly staff, great prices, and a dizzying variety of flavors! There is a nice shaded area in the back with picnic tables for... enjoying your ice cream. I really appreciated that they had a few non-dairy options that I could enjoy while mynon-lactose-inhibited friends enjoyed their ice cream. Read more
I learned about this little ice cream shop while on my Clayton Island Tours Two Nation Tour. Our guide, Liam highly recommended... it. It's a busy place for sure. The staff were buzzing around making sure everyone got their order to cool them off in the hotsun. They had a staggering 48 different flavors of Hershey ice cream to choose from. The best part was you can order 1,2,3,4,or5 scoops and you can choose a different flavor for each scoop! I had Roadrunner Raspberry and Caramel Cheesecake Cookie Monster.Both were amazing. These were the biggest ice cream servings I ever saw! Their Baby Baby size is one scoop, Baby size - 2 scoops, Small - 3... scoops, medium - 4 scoops! I didn't take a picture, sorry, but they are just HUGE and delicious! We had fresh strawberrysundaes which were GREAT! Highly recommend! Read more
