I'm sorry to say that the salad was ringing wet with undrained water. I wanted deep fried cod fish and Onion rings and was told... they don't have Onion rings plus they wouldn't deep fry the cod because she said it would fall apart! I've never heard of such athing! She ended up telling us we could get the perch deep fried so we went with that and the pieces were so big that they werenot cooked all the way through. It will be awhile before we return there! ???? We had an awesome dinner 10-1-22. No wait time although the restaurant was packed! Sarah was our waitress and she was a... sweetheart always checking in us!! Brandon, thanks for making us laugh!! Wait THANK YOU times 3 in sync. Lol the food and drinkswere amazing! Best perch I?ve ever had! My daughters steak was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful! This was our favorite restaurant fir oysters rockefeller, french onion soup and steaks. I sent so many people here for these... items but no more. The oysters were in a rich cream sauce with spinach and cheese. Now they?re dry with crusted cheese. The soupwas a rich beef broth but now watery with no flavor and hard onions. The steak was black on the outside. The baked potato wasmushy. Even the cherry butter lacked flavor. This cook is not a chef. What happened?? Read more
Food was wonderful!! I had the New York Strip encrusted in a horseradish sauce (medium well), 2 baked potatoes, house salad and... steamed broccoli. I washed it down with a lemonade. Read more
Wow. The food was terrible. The steak was really tough. The soup was inedible. The cheese sticks were nasty. How do you... screw up chess sticks? The bread and cherry butter were pretty good but other than that I wouldn't eat here again. Read more
Amazing service, fresh fish and friendly service! This place has it all and more. The atmosphere is sophisticated, yet casual... enough to not be intimidating for casual dining. Even for an outsider to the area this place feels quite full of algonac charm,and is definitely a worthwhile stop as you pass through.
