Amazing steaks. Well seasoned and cooked perfectly as instructed. You get to taste the longhorn seasoning, the meat is juicy and... melts in your mouth. Prices are amazing for what you're getting. Drinks are sweet and refreshing. Worth the visit. Read more
I know the service industry is suffering, but I'm going to write an honest review. 1. We added our names to the wait list... before we got there, still waited about 15 minutes. Which is fine, but there was no where to actually wait. 2. We were seatedas a family of 4 in teeny both. My kids couldn't help but spill their drinks all night because the table was so small. Clearingplates was troublesome. And the servers continued to bring food to the table with no where to put it. 3. Our order was wrongseveral times. My husband's steak was under cooked, and when we sent it back, instead of a new steak, they continued cooking theold steak and brought it back out. That was just, wow. Food was forgotten and we had to ask several times for our drinks, to goboxes, napkins, and water. 4. 10/10 do not recommend ordering adult beverages. I had a mango margarita,, my husband ordered anold fashioned. My margarita was spilled before I could actually drink it. My husband's old fashioned was the worst we've everhad. We couldn't drink it. 5. Our server did his best, but it was busy and he couldn't keep up with his tables. I felt bad forcontinuing to ask for things, but like we couldn't get a meal at one time. The hostess, front end manager was less thanpleasant. 6. The food was good. It's hard to find places we all like, and if we'd had a better experience we'd frequent thisplace because the good was really good. Service was great for a large group like ours. 11 total people and we got 2 servers all night. Menu was full of options. The... overriding factor of all the meals was way too much salt. Especially on the stakes and burgers. Read more
Went there Saturday for my birthday. Had a wonderful experience & a great server Jeremy! Jeremy loves his job and you can tell... by his big smile and attentiveness to your dining experience! Food was delicious, drinks were good & that Corn on the cob wasamazing! Great addition to Algonquin! It is in the old Famous Dave?s location so it is not a huge place. 5 stars for sure! ???? We used to love Longhorn, and I?m not sure if it?s just this new location but things have gone down hill. Went for my husbands... birthday dinner yesterday. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes for a server, who finally came over and took our order foreverything all at once: appetizer, drinks, and meals. We then waited another 15 minutes (30 minutes in total now) just to getwater. We were served our appetizer before we even got a glass of water, that we DID ask for more than once. Took 20 minutes toreceive our drinks from the bar. Our food came out pretty quickly, but I could tell even from the outside of the steak that itwas cooked incorrectly. It looks dry and shriveled. I had ordered my steak medium. What I got was closer to well done. It wasdry and chewy and flavorless. Barely any visible pink at all. We informed the waitress and she just stared at us like she didn?tunderstand. Not to mention, we had asked for refills on water twice during all this time and she never came back with water. Iunderstand if you are short servers or over seated and busy, but the service has to come eventually and when it does, it wouldhelp if she were actually even polite.
