Last time we came my daughter was in about 6th grade (2017?). She is a sophomore in college now. Today's visit was my wife and... my son (freshman in college) we came here had breakfast and then the next day we came back for breakfast/lunch. They haveremodeled the place. No more carpet, no more torn booth seats. Service was great food tasted so good almost went into foodcomma. Photo is from 1st visit (10-28-22) lumber jack with upgrade in pancakes, moon over hammy and steak(?exact name) omlet addavocado, side of crispy bacon and appetizer sampler. Day 2 10-29-22 loaded veggie omlet, ultimate omlet add avocado and a baconAvocado cheese burger with seasoned fries. The pancakes are very dark! I ordered buttermilk pancakes and they are supposed to be white. The cook didn?t put enough oil in... them. Every restaurant serves white pancakes even Mcdonalds so this was a bad appetite. Also there?s barely any parking at thislocation. Read more
Absolutely amazing service! The manager i think it was, or maybe the owner, and the staff gave exceptional service!! My sister... is currently in the hospital on her third trimester and she had cravings, to include a frozen hot chocolate. They didn?thesitate to make it despite it not being on the menu. I also had to make some adjustments to the food based on my diet.Everything was perfect, super nice and sweet staff. Read more

Came here with a friend to get dinner options for breakfast. The waitress serving us was very friendly and attentive. I got the... Sirloin steak with French fries and zucchini and squash. Friend got the bourbon chicken skillet. While my steak dinner differedin appearance to the menu?s, it was very appetizing. Steak was tender and seasoned well. Vegetables were juicy and was betterthan the French fries, which lacked seasoning at all. Would get the mashed potatoes next time. Bourbon chicken skillet tastedgood, but also has a ?candy?-like glaze. Depending on how much you tolerate bourbon, it may be overwhelming to finish in onesitting. Read more
The manager, Maria, was cheerful and greeted my mother and I with a smile and seated us promptly. She was able to answer a few... questions that we had. She was very knowledgeable. We then were waited on by a pleasant and efficient waiter named Ray. He is adefinite asset to your company. Great job in hiring him! Loved this experience at this Denny?s in Alhambra! Without diving into too much detail, since at the end of the day this is a Denny's, this location stands out from the rest in... the area in that the food that is prepared is always fresh, hot and is plated great. I would give it a higher rating but thething that prevents me from doing that is the often long wait times and the staff could be a little more accommodating. Otherthan that this location is great during the week when it's not too rushed and as Gordon Ramsay has said before (again, for allyou foodies I'm aware this is a Denny's haha), "Wait times don't matter. As long as it's good when the customer tastes it, thenit's a good meal." Read more
Ordered the chicken fried chicken dinner with rice and mixed veg. The veg came with some plastic in it. When pointed out to the... manager he offered me a remake which I gladly took and requested it be packaged to go. I also asked for the veg to NOT beovercooked as the original order was grossly overdone. When I got home, I received the exact same mushy veggies. Sadlydisappointed.
