The best spicy beef(so tender)noodle soup, shrimp dumplings, onion pancake, leek bao. Lots of flavor! They have a Super... friendly service lady but only speaks Chinese. Don't worry, the boss speaks English and she's very nice too. Since I've beencoming for over 4 years, they've always had an "A" health grade which is very important to me. Read more
I really enjoy coming to family owned businesses like this one. There's more than just Panda so stop by this local spot! ... Original recipes and very good food. I ordered the beef pies (4), cool chicken noodles and the shewed beef noodle soup. I'll becoming back for sure. Read more
This has become one of our favorite places to go in the past few months. The staff are friendly and always pleasant (not always... a given in a Chinese restaurant in this area!), but of course, it's the food that really keeps us coming back. We have notexplored the menu in great depth because we love their bread food! The meat pies are great - we've eaten at Beijing a Pie Housemany, many times, but they were the only game in town back then. Well, now there's a new player that keeps us coming back overand over again. The beef pies are really good. Chinese restaurants don't always do beef very well, but these folks have got itdown. Our next favorite are the pork and leek pies. Flavorful pork and lots of fresh leek. The other pies are very good too,but the best thing about this place are the unique leek pies! A plate full of these little leek-filled wonders are unlikeanything anywhere else in the SGV. Thick and full of flavor, not like the usual thin and greasy leek pies you see everywhereelse. We use to eat there once to twice a week until their food portions shrank and prices went up. I get the prices may rise but... dumplings are way smaller and noodle bowls are smaller. The shrimp dumplings use to be filled where it was the best sized intown, now it's nothing to rave about. Of course, service there is never the greatest but we went for the food taste andportions. I stop bring my friends & family there. Bring back the decent portions and we will sure be back with a crowd. Read more
Great buns, dumplings, noodles, and wraps. The prices are amazing, and the quality of the food has remained remarkably stable... for many years. The young staff at the front seem to change as often as the seasons, but this is still a very relaxed and casualplace for great comfort food. Read more
Wow the Chengdu sour-spicy noodle and Steamed Spareribs with Rice Flour are so delicious!
I gave it 5 stars not because it's the best food ever, but it was all i expected as a chinese guy wanting decent beef stew... noodle and onion pancake in my hood i grew up. Brother tried to beef roll and leek dumplings were great. All and all goodexperience in no frills place in strip mall used to be called Crawford's Corner when I was kid.. Worth a visit.
