Yea I won't be back. I've ordered here before and had no issues. This time I went to order the perfect couple as we have in the... past substituting chicken for shrimp. The man on the phone laughed and asked if I wanted all general tsos I said no? You've donechicken instead of shrimp in white sauce before so I don't understand the issue. He continued to laugh and said they don't dothat. So I was like okay then why I have I recieved it before? I hung up since this was so hilarious to him. I called elsewhere who happily did the switch. If they can't substitute chicken for shrimp in a relatively expensive item, then obviouslyyou're using pre-made food and I'm not down with places that can't accommodate someone with a mild shrimp allergy. I won't beback, and considering they're one of the most expensive restaurants of this type in the area? Nah I'll pass every time. Read more

Order by calling, the prices on their website are higher than the in-store menu. Food is good, but our vegetable egg rolls seem... like they are not the same as we've had from here before. Hardly any filling in them. Read more
I am disappointed with the changes at Empire Palace. They have gone to carry out only. However, when my husband picked up the... order they don't even give you plastic forks! We live in WV but was in the area so stopped for lunch. Had to take it home toeat, a 40 minute drive. The quality of the food has dropped, and the price had gone up. I see your answer to my review butcouldn't figure out how else to respond. It apparently isn't a "one time" thing not to receive a fork in your takeout. Theemployee who waited on my husband told him you never hand out utensils! Maybe he was mistaken....or just did not want to bothersince he had been paid. We have eaten at your establishment for over 20 years, so the quality of the food had nothing to do withthe fact that we drove 40 minutes home. It has to do with the food itself! Food is good. Huge portions. I knocked 2 stars off because they don’t do substitutions or prepare sushi the way you like it.... Which is a red flag! Meaning its not fresh and more than likely pre-made. If it was made fresh to order they would be able toadd or substitute whatever you wanted. For instance when you order a hot meal something that has mushrooms and you don’t likeshrooms you can tell them to leave it out.. Fresh sushi bars are able to put whatever you want in them because they have thestuff to do it. Sushi to me is a delicacy, it’s expensive and I expect it to be fresh. I come in and get seated immediately. I get water and tea without having to ask. Complimentary chips are provided. Im toldof... their specials. Its affordable, clean, friendly, and food was served in a timely fashion! Not to mention it was fresh anddelicious??? Read more
The best moo goo gai pan I've ever had. So flavorful. Excellent spring rolls, too. The Singapore noodle with curry was superb... and delicious! We will be ordering again for sure. Read more
