You can't go wrong with Captain Rod's chicken and taters. The seafood platter wasn't the greatest though. Service was... adequate, but she could have been a little more attentive. Food is always good. The staff always friendly and helpful. I seem to somehow get the same young man always extremely friendly,... though often times forgetful (new). I say this because I hear people complain as i sit there eating. I feel it's worthmentioning as well, that he came into work, he is fairly new, and if you ask again, instead of complain he will get you what youneed. A little patience with the people who are working hard goes a long way in helping keep not only them working, butbusinesses open at this point. Harolds is one place I would like to see stay open, so please folks cut the new people someslack. (No I do not have any relation or affiliation with this business or its employees) Now on to the actual food... The foodis very good. The breaded zucchini has a season salt that makes it a next level zucchini in no need of a dipping sauce of anykind (though one is provided). Just about everything on the menu is very tasty so you shouldn't be disappointed no matter whatyou get. I've had no complaints about any of the dinners I've had. While I personally haven't had the fried chicken I've hadseveral people tell me the fried chicken is pretty salty. Good or bad that's up to you, just worth mentioning for those not fondof salt. I've had several people with me who have raved about the cheesecake ( again I've never tried). Apparently, as far ascheesecake is concerned their's is pretty darn good. Read more
Harold?s Inn always has the best meals! From salads, taters, chicken, the mahi tacos, the quesadillas & so so much more. They?ve... got great drinks and a wonderful patio to sit on. By far the best restaurant in the area with a fantastic owner & team. Read more
This place has a very home like feel, the staff is welcoming and the menu looks appealing. The problem was the execution of also... everything. The wait staff seemed to be dealing with an issue of who was serving what section, the food( that came out with nodelay) was very salty. To the point where the French fries and bread were the lease salted thing on either my guests or myplate. When it came time for desert we got the coconut cream pie. The pie was a vanilla custard with a minute amount of coconuton top, and heaps of cool whip. There was no coconut flavor to the pie at all. Overall the establishment is quaint howeverbetween the staff having issues the food being over salted and the general price of everything, I would expect more care to bedelivered in the quality of food coming out of the kitchen. Not quite sure if I would return. I ordered the broasted chicken duo with taters. Incredibly salty to the point where I couldn?t... finish the potatoes. I took the rest of the chicken home to try and make something for lunch tomorrow but even the chicken is sosalty. Also, when the food was brought out to our table my plate was dumped and half ended up on the ground. They did bring newfood almost immediately. Service was slow but wait staff was nice. Had the blueberry hibiscus margarita and it was delicious.Also ordered the coconut crème pie but could not taste any coconut. Tasted more like a custard pie. Read more
We tried this place on a whim and holy crow am I glad we did. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful! I have no idea what's in... Mountain seasoning, but you definitely need to try it. Friendly staff and quick service. We will definitely be returning!! Read more
Great experience. Will definitely return to try something else off the extensive menu. The Strawberry Grilled Chicken Salad was... probably one of the best salads I've ever had... so much flavor and the greens were super fresh.
