Decent food but smoking permitted in the bar area. My friend had the meatball sandwich which looked amazing but I had the... quesadilla and it didn't have much flavor. First time here. Immediately hit with overwhelming cigarette smoke when entering. It was overpowering!! Went in the back dining... area and was hit with an overpowering overwhelming MOLD SMELL!! So strong it was making us sick. We ordered food but couldn'ttake it anymore. We got it to go. I was still sick after leaving. The food was actually decent. It's really a shame what's happened to this place. You walk in the door and you get blown away with all the smoke. The prices... have gone up significantly. Unfortunately service is very poor there. I definitely will never eat there because of the smell ofsmoke. I went in for takeout and when I left I just smelled of the smoke odor and I even went in on the dining room side. I'm sure this place is great for drinking and hanging out, but the food isn't good. Even for bar food it's below average. My... grilled cheese was decent, but the tomato soup (not actually) was disappointing. My friend ordered the wedding soup and didn'ttake more than one bite. I tried it myself and can confirm it was awful. Plus with a smoking bar just behind the door it smellsof stale cigarettes. Not a great food destination. Read more
I just want to thank all involved that make this my wifes and I go to restaurant! From the fine food and most of all to the... girls who go above and beyond to give one great service! Just a note to us non-smokers that want a smoke free experience! Yougive us that option with the back dining area that is always very cold and smells like a damp basement! I would hope that Trennywould look into this as the dehumidifier he put in helps but you need an air purifier also! This is the only down side to yourplace!
