Ordered two items took 25 minutes to get them, then they were cold. Felt bad for young girls trying to take and fill orders. It... was obvious they were new employees and they simply did not know what to do. They got no help from a manager (I never saw anyonethat appeared to be in charge) I am 100% sure the employees I dealt with had no or very minimal training then were left alonewith no support. It is easy to blame the high school student trying to fill your order but what I experienced was a failure ofmanagement; failure to train and failure to support their staff. Wendy?s in Allegan, Michigan. I patiently waited over 15 minutes to order food behind only two vehicles. When I quickly... received my order I was happy and drove away. I?m disappointed to say that my French fries were about 1/3 filled and they wereso old they were chewy. They were still warm, but chewing them actually made my jaw sore after two grabs of fries. I pulledout my spicy chicken sandwich and after a couple of bites realized that was missing lettuce. I called this location 3 timesletting it ring on and on until finally someone answered. The person who answered passed me off to the manager Shelby who wascompletely unapologetic-and had a sarcastic tone the entire time I talked to her. She said ?we aren?t telling people we areout of lettuce, we just don?t have it nationwide in our restaurants right now?. To which I responded, if it shows lettuce onthe picture and you don?t have it, you?re out of lettuce and I should have been informed before assuming it was ok. Of courseif I want a refund I need to drive back up to Allegan after getting my kids-because I can?t be late getting them from school,but otherwise NO REFUND. I paid with my card. I got a chicken and bun sandwich, stale fries and a soda for a whopping $12. Nope. Here?s to hoping Shelby changes her attitude when I come back on my way through, I expect a full refund. Read more
I waited at the speaker this morning at 6:45 (they open at 6:30) for 5 minutes with not a single thing said, and I questioned... ?oh, are y?all not open yet?? And still no response. I went to the other side of the building and waited for another 15 minutes,and within that time frame they came out and all enjoyed a smoke break. Very unprofessional to ignore customers when you?resupposed to be open. Read more

I almost never review on Google. I also almost never eat fast food. However, I ordered drive through wendy's tonight. I am in... incredible pain, have severe nausea, and am wildly sick. I do not know what the cause was with their food, but I would notrecommend going to the Allegan location for Wendy's food. My boyfriend and I are both in severe gastrointestinal stress aftereating, and only about an hour after eating I was doubled over. Hopefully this review will save someone from severe pain,mediocre service, and poor food quality in the future. If this continues I'll be headed to the ER, this level of illness issimilar to salmonella or food poisoning. Read more
I stopped with my mother to get breakfast, and it seemed like the order was going well, typed in properly and everything the... first try. I have an odd order due to very specific allergies, so at a Wendy's I don't normally stop at, this is rare. Then weget to the window, and it's two people. Memorial Day, still alright. But one then says every alarm is going off at once, whichwas my first alarm it was going to be bad. My potato wedges with my breakfast were hard and sounded like potato chips crunchingwhen I tried to chew through them, ate two and found they were all tough and nasty. Ended up not feeling well, and to put itpolitely, my mother, who had the same sandwich but didn't need them to remove the egg, had it far worse in regards to needingthe restroom all day afterwards. That leads us to think she got a bad egg on her sandwich as we had the same sandwich. Two starsfor a good attempt at service, they were friendly as they served us two helpings of food poisoning, three stars taken off forthe food poisoning itself. Read more
New review because they have improved staffing! I got my salad quickly, exactly as I ordered it (South West Avocado with no... bacon and jalapenos on the side), and the new employees were delightful. Drive through on my way to work. Of course everyone ischeerful their first week on the job anyplace, but currently would recommend this Wendy's as a solid place to grab a quickbite. (My salad mmmmm). Burger was good, had good flavor, just was not hot or even warm. I went through the drive thru, had to wait a little bit for my... burger, finally got my food, just drove around the front of the building and parked on the other side. Burger should not havebeen cold in that short time frame. Read more
