I'm new to McKinney from New Orleans so we are always looking for places with great vibes and drinks. We visited here with about... 8 parents from my son's baseball team and we had a blast. There was a live DJ on Friday and we danced, ate and drink. Theatmosphere was chill. The service amazing and this pasta I ordered was likely the best pasta I've had in this area. Nice workBar Louie! This place offers several happy hour specials that are worth the try for the price. I had an excellent dirty martini during HH.... The fried calamari was greasy and there wasn't much of it so not my favorite. It does have plenty of outdoor/indoor seating. Read more
We enjoy this place, the atmosphere is calm with a good variety of drinks and food. Each time we go we try new things and have... not been disappointed except with their dessert. The bathrooms aren?t great, but otherwise the staff works hard and the food anddrinks are great! If you?re getting fries definitely ask foe the jalapeño honey mustard, it?s amazing!! Read more
Food was ok and waitress was friendly. It took way too long to get my food. Over ten minutes just to order and forever to pay.... The place wasn?t even busy and almost empty. In there for almost two hour for four burgers. My son was falling asleep waitingfor everything. If they were busy I could understand but nothing was going on. Read more
We had dinner here tonight. I've only been to Bar Louie one other time and that was near Galveston. I ordered the Chicken... Chipotle Street Tacos and my friend ordered the All Nighter Burger. My tacos were really good, mild, not too spicy. I liked thecabbage and sliced radish on top. I do wish they came with a little rice and/or beans. The burger looked amazing topped withbacon and a fried egg. My friend said it tasted as good as it looked. I definitely want to try that next time. Our server wasprofessional and attentive.
