This place was unexpected when I first tried it out. The food was good and inexpensive. However, I've been there about three... times now and it's been inconsistent. I find that whenever I order anything blackened, it's always too salty. So I have tokeep it in mind to ask them to make it light on the seasoning. I've had both good and OK servers, so I just accept that as oneof those things, it can't always be perfect. I like the carrots, salmon and white fish and of course the honey croissants areAMAZING! My wife and I love cheddar's but tonight was a disappointment. My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo and clearly as pictured it is... not chicken.. on my order I am missing my baked potato? and my meat was beyond under cooked to the MEDIUM rare temperature itwas more rear and still bloody.. Read more

Great place for family dining my kids enjoy the spinach dip service is always good here rather dine in or take out
There were inconsistencies with the food. For example the picture shown is of their broccoli rice casserole. One looks like it's... from an old batch that was made a week ago, while the other looks freshly made. Their fries although good were slightly cold inareas. Some of the chicken tenders ordered had good sized pieces and others were all breading hardly any meat. Cocktails werelacking in the alcohol dept and overly sweet. On the upside the place was kept clean, even the restrooms. The servers were alsonice. My kids loved the fish tank which made the 25 min wait go quicker. Read more
It has been a while since my last visit, and was shocked and happy about the free delicious butter croissants. They taste so... great and fresh! It was not very busy so they sat us in the bar area where we had a booth, which was a request by us. Thereason is it is a LOT easier to handle a toddler when we can 'trap' her in the booth than with chairs. My wife ordered theStrawberry Swirl Margarita and it was delicious while her grandfather and I got a Shiner. Good stuff! We order a steak and somefixings, wife got the Monti Cristo and I devoured my chicken before I remember to take a picture. The food was delicious andcame out hot. There was a small issue with grandpa's sides, finally came out when we were done eating, but it is fine as he issaving it and the left overs for another meal. The waiter was very nice and patient for us having a loud kiddo. My daughtersloves looking at the fish tank so that helped keep her calm for a bit as we named the fish. We had Francis and Gary that wefound and she followed around the tank. The only reason why it is four and not five is every time we go it is really reallyslow to get a drink and food order. The waiter was super nice and friendly, but it is a reoccurring theme. I understand theshort staff issue that many companies face but this is something the Allen spot always has an issue with.
