Good place for some fine Mexican food! Service was super prompt and awesome! Chips for a bit greasy, and the salsa was a... little heavy on the garlic! I liked it, but my partners didn't! Chips are not salted after they were fried! Null! Theenchiladas, were awesome! Great filling, accompanated with an awesome sauce to go on top! The charro beans were on the 6 outof 10 side. Mexican rice was really good! Place was packed, and they were handling it well, due to the great instruction ofthe manager! Very smooth performance! Had several big parties coming in, and overwhelmed them quickly! Manager stepped up andtook care of everything in a way good manner! Only wish there were some more options on the menu, like just ordering a lacarte! Everything was a plate or a meal from what I saw in the menu. My opinion of most TexMex places we try is summed up in theChips, Salsa and Queso. Here the Chips were fresh but basic and the... Salsa was really good. I have to say that neither myself or my wife were fond of, what we call, the Velveeta style Queso. I amcertain Velveeta cheese is good for something but please, not queso... This was our first visit and found it to be a quaintlittle place. The staff were very nice. The food was really good. I always do chicken enchiladas as a first impression and theywere really tasty. The plate came with a nice rice side and some really great charro beans, which was probably my favorite partof the meal. Seriously, they were really good... We drove a little out of the way to get here as part of mine and my wifesTexMex Adventure to discover new places to eat. I would come back here if near by and hungry. Read more
The food and service were excellent. But by far the home-made flan was outstanding! The best by far that I've had since my... grandmother's. The Guisado was very flavorful as well as the shrimp tacos. We will definitely return and bring the rest of thefamily to enjoy this excellent family restaurant! Read more
This is our favorite Tex Mex restaurant in the Allen area (by far). The food is tasty, spicy, and well prepared. The chips and... salsa are great. Prices are reasonable, especially at lunch during the week. The servers are attentive and cheerful. Themargaritas are excellent, and the house magarita is only $5 on Monday. Since it is popular, it can get noisy at night. We'vethoroughly enjoyed every dish we've had (except I thought the chicken burrito was not as good as everything else). Read more
We have been coming to this place for maybe a year now, the food is always fresh, well prepared, flavorful and has great... portions. They acknowledge you when you walk in and make you feel welcomed. Their staff is great and their food is AUTHENTICMexican food. Love their mimosas and micheladas. This place is great! We have had several meals from their menu and they neverfail! Highly recommended. Mexican restaurant in a strip mall with ample parking. Restaurant is clean and is in good repair, as are the restrooms.... Waitstaff and restaurant observed proper Covid-19 protocols. The prices and food portion was great! The shrimp taco was really delicious and I'm glad I listened to the server's favorite... dish here and the most important thing to mention is the server was excellent!!! He checked on us so many times and not to bugus at all! Read more
Great service and food. The frozen margaritas were perfect! I had two and normally I pay the price the next day, but our server... recommended a top shelf tequila and I had ZERO hangover the next day! Definitely coming back. Get the margaritas! Read more
