Chicken was a bit dry. We ordered a 4 piece chicken meal. What turned my husband and I off were the size of the sides. They... charge over $4 for sides that are not even a cup of food. That is enough to turn us off permanently from this franchise. Iknow we have inflation right now, but this is a total rip off, even with inflation. The meal came with 2 sides, we wanted 3,but were unwilling to pay that for a small scoop of food. It's sad, I used to LOVE El Pollo loco... Lost a loyal customerhere... I haven't been to El Pollo Loco in years but I just moved and this location is very close. I went through the drive thru and got... a meal. I had 3 Carne Asada street tacos, chips and a cake and it was less than $8. I enjoyed the food and that's a pretty gooddeal! Update...I went back for dinner but ate inside the restaurant. I had the double chicken bowl which has chicken (of course)rice, beans, cabbage, sliced avocado and sour cream. My friend got the 3 piece chicken meal. The young man at the register wasvery friendly. The macaroni and cheese had the consistency of baby food and had kernels of corn in it. The noodles were pretty much mush. The... mashed potatoes had more texture than the macaroni and cheese and there were kernels of corn in the potatoes as well. Why shouldI have to chew mashed potatoes this much? I ate the mac and cheese earlier. I ate some of the potatoes later and now my stomachis cramping. No lie. I won't be back to this location. Read more
Family meal was good. Some chicken pieces were dry but I think that?s the style.
The chicken is great. I always get the chicken breast and wing combo. It?s also nice to have different sides like the mashed... potato?s. They have great salsa so the chips are a good choice over the flower tortilla. Read more
First time ever having to comment on food online tells you something, this is what they sent me. I know its fast food but man... kfc is fast food and dont put burned food in the box.
