McCocina Allen is a favorite Monday tradition for my husband and myself. We love the mambo taxis and the nachos al carbon... chicken. 7/9/22: We arrived for an early dinner. We sat at a table in the bar area and it wasn't crowded. Jose was our host, and he was... great. We ordered a shrimp ceviche and a enchilada dinner with fajita chicken. Their chips were thick and crunchy, and the salsahad a nice kick to it. I had a couple of bottled beers, and she had a Margarita Dilemma, then switched to a jalapeño Margarita. Jose was very attentive. The bar area was a little busy, but not overly so. The area was very clean and there were TV'sthroughout the bar. The food and drink presentation very pretty good. We would definitely eat here again. Read more
Absolutely in love with this restaurant! Stopped in for lunch on July 9th and it was a wonderful experience! The hostess was... extremely friendly and we were seated right away. Clean and beautiful place. Our server Elizabeth was also beyond friendly andhelpful! I had the LuAnn platter and it was so much food, the quality was amazing. For 12.95, I had enough for 2 meals. Duringour meal, I believe it was the manager and his name was Leo (told us it was his 2nd day) stopped by to check on our meals andhave a nice conversation with us! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all of the moms out there! I treated my wife who is a mother and one of our daughter’s best friends... Colton to Mi Cocina in Allen! We all started with a really great appetizers, Queso Blanco and added guacamole and ground beef!Holy moly this stuff was outrageously good! Geneen & I ordered Ernie’s Chicken with sour cream sauce and cheese with pico deGallo, guacamole, and rice. I have to say this is my favorite dish so far! Colton ordered cheese and beef Enchiladas. Wow. The first thing that comes to my mind when enjoying a wonderful drink and some food from Mi Cocina. From the Tacos De... Brisket to their fantastic drinks, the flavors will absolutely overwork your tastebuds. I cannot speak enough about how goodeverything is here. Try some different things and you will not regret it. An absolute delight and one of my favorite places toeat in Dallas. Read more
I recommend this place to everyone!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was a 10/10! I had the sunset style fajitas... which were extremely good! It was my first time there and I can tell you we will be back again! When we got there Nico themanager and Karla our waitress took great care of us! Very nice people!
