honestly, not worth the money... this time, maybe an off night, we will try it again. The salmon was overcooked on the outside... and undercooked on the inside. The mushrooms were good although very salty. The scallops were a little bit rubbery and the creamcorn was too sugary. The macaroni and cheese was okay, the cornbread by itself was good although a bit too sweet. Pretty mucheverything came out at room temperature or slightly above it. All in all everything had too much sugar and the fish wasundercooked. Everything definitely had Taste of a good dish but just couldn't quite hit the mark. The deviled eggs however,while they were very good they definitely had been sitting in the fridge for a while. The eggs had already built up a slightcrust on the filling. The server we had was named Noz. He was an excellent server and was very attentive. The Ambiance andcleanliness of the restaurant was outstanding and while this particular dinner was underwhelming I will be giving it anotherchance. I just don't think that the quality and the taste of the food was worth the cost this time. We spent over $100 for whatyou see in the photos and we didn't have any alcoholic drinks. Read more
Stumbled upon this hidden gem one night while shopping around. Food Cocktails and Service are not the only things that set the... bar high. Props to the owner or management that added just enough details to make you feel like you just walked into a down townDallas environment (necessity bathroom items is what separates different levels of hospitality). Shout out to Jack the bartenderfor listening to details. Ask him to make a strawberry basil gimlet named ?The Kristina? so we can get it added to the menu! Read more
We had an excellent experience tonight. Our server, Junior, was on top of our needs and took excellent care of us. My darling... husband has ruined me when it comes to ordering off the drink menu at most restaurants. I know my liquor and cocktails so whenJunior approached us for a drink order I decided to go speak directly to the bar manager, Matt. I knew what I wanted but myfriend (also ruined by my husband's cocktail knowledge and skills) was having a difficult time deciding on a drink. Mattanswered all our questions, discussed various rum and gin they had available, and infused simple syrups. With Matt's help wewere able to concoct a simple drink ( dark rum, pineapple juice, and basil infused simple syrup) for my friend. We appreciatethe staff putting in the extra effort to accommodate us. Sugar bacon and deviled eggs were excellent starters. Let me tell you how this is going to become our new spot. Dom was our waiter and he was phenomenal! It?s a whole vibe here. We... are here for brunch (1st time) and have already made plans to come back on Friday for dinner. We ordered the crab cake as anappetizer and it was seasoned to perfection. We both ordered the ribeye and eggs, mine medium and hers medium rare..both werecooked perfectly! The chef is on point!
