We live in Allen Park for 12 years and finally went and experienced some delicious entrees. My wife had the cheese and meat... ravioli and was absolutely delicious. I on the other hand did surf and turf, not a traditional Italian dish. Topped off withcherries jubilee our wedding dessert. Our waiter was perfect didn't miss a thing. Service was good, the mushrooms (starter) were good but the main course was awful. Veal was chewy, pasta was mushy and... overcooked, and the sauce tasted acidic and like it came from a bottle. Way too expensive for the quality and place had a mustysmell. nothing tasted fresh. Read more
Rather a small place but with the clever use of mirrors lining the wall you have the impression of space. The food and the... presentation was excellent and the staff was professional and engaging. Overall very classy. It was a bit pricey but the foodwas far from disappointing! The bananas foster was very good as was the rest of the meal and general experience. My Wife and Iwent there for our wedding anniversary. Bill came to about $230 but again, it was delicious and the atmosphere was mostenjoyable! Read more

Great food, relaxing atmosphere and very good and loyal employees! I was here for my Birthday Dinner recently with my children... and my grandchildren. That wasn't our first time there though. My love for Moro's goes way back to when my children were asyoung as my 3, 5 and 7 year old grandchildren are now! And the gentleman who served us has been there since way back then. Hestarts off with a delicious salad, prepared table side. Next comes the savory soup and for the main course you can't go wrongwith the tender, melt in your mouth, veal cutlet Maison!!! Then if you have room, you can top everything off with a deliciousflaming dessert prepared table side. Our favorite is cherries jubilee! I have been a patron of this restaurant for many yearsand I highly recommend that you go and experience it just once. I guarantee that you will be back for more!!! Read more
AMAZING gourmet entrees !!! I just had surgery on my foot, it was in a hard cast & needed to be elevated during my meal. There... was about a 20 min. wait time to be seated. I'm not one to ask for help or special privileges because I'm handicapped. Thedarling lady hosting seen that I was shifting my cane while standing there. She then guided me to a corner table in the back,she told me to ask my server ( I cannot remember his name ????) for anything I needed from him that he is a sweet heart ! Assoon as he came to my table he noticed my large cast and asked what could he do to help me to be comfortable !? I was shockedthat he was so attentive to my personal physical comfort. He got table linens and another chair for me to elevate at mydiscretion. I ordered the garlic cheese bread apitizer, fresh salad made at my table, filet mignon, prawn lemon garlic scampi, ahalf order of the fettuccine Alfredo & cherry jubilee made table side with effects that were visually stunning ! I obviously hadcarryout from ordering all that food just for me ???? ! My server walked me out to my car to help me carry the bags because Iwas handicapped ! From walking in, to departure, my experience was like no other one I have had from a restaurant before !Simply divine !!! Moro's restaurant is one of those fine gems hidden on the main street of Allen Park on Allen Road. To the locals, Moro's... restaurant is a well known and respected Italian restaurant. The atmosphere brings to mind Italian restaurants you would find inNew York's Little Italy or in the south side of Philadelphia. The food is traditional Italian. Having grown up in an Italianfamily, I can attest the their flavors are simple, aromatic, and rich. This isn't Italian fusion, these dishes are prepared likeyou would find in family kitchens dotting the Italian country side. The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
