Burnt my pizza, I got a refund, they burnt my replacement pizza but I felt weird about asking for a 2nd refund.

The pizza is OK (so two stars) but messing up my order has become the rule rather than the exception -- half of the times we've... ordered in the last few months, we've gotten the wrong pizza, or somebody else's pizzas, or one of the pizzas we ordered wasn'tmade. The reason my review changed is because I ordered the new flat bread pizza and when it got to my house is was burnt badly. And a... few weeks ago we ordered a pizza and by the time it got to us it was cold. Might stop getting pizza from here as this isridiculous. Very disappointed ???? Read more

Nothing against the staff at this location, I usually get a good pizza (over 100 orders here), sometimes overcooked or not fully... cut, but that is rare - this rating is mostly for the price of Hungry Howie's in general - it has gone up, mostly due to thelack of deals or online coupon codes. Our family could usually get a large pizza for around 10 bucks, or less, which is whatthis pizza is worth - it's nothing special - it's your typical pizza chain variety. Due to the pricing, I've had to exploreother chains in town, and I must say, there is really cheap pizza in Allendale. You can get a 3 topping large at Dominos(including premium chicken) for $8 right now, or upgrade it to an Xlarge for 2 bucks - it's even cheaper when using discountedonline gift cards. And you can tell who is busier too - Howie's lot is empty (except for their delivery cars, which are not outdelivering), Dominoes has customers in and out. Love the flavored crusts, really good pizza, very Reasonably Priced

Hungry Howies in Allendale is the best pizza place in all of Allendale. The prices/deals, the staff, the service all of it... combined equals one satisfying ordering experience. Fun Fact: with the mix and match deal you can get 2 - 8 piece wings for$5.99 each.(normally priced $8.49) HOURS CHANGE DURING SUMMER/SCHOOL YEAR: Weekdays stay the same but in the summer, theweekend hour are shortened by 1 hour and they close at 1am rather than 2am. Having never tried Hungry Howie's before, we opted to go with the simplistic approach and just order a large cheese pizza with... garlic and herb seasoned crust. The pizza was to our surprise, very good. The crust was a bit thin for "hand tossed" style butis nicely baked with the right amount of crunch and chew. The cheese blend is one that will make you want to chew and savor itthe point of being almost sad that you swallowed it wishing that you could still get more of the flavor from it. The sauce isthe perfect amount of savory, sweet, and bitter. Together they artfully blend to make the experience one that we will joyfullyenjoy again. Read more
