We went on Sunday 10/23 for lunch. The servers were so friendly and brought us some extra food to sample because we said we were... relatively new to Mediterranean cuisine. The food was delicious and the owner could not have been nicer! The hummus was the bestI have ever had. We will be back!! Read more

The food was very delicious and fresh. It's new owners who want to please! They still serve breakfast and the rest of the lunch... dinner menu seems excellent. Read more

Had lunch outside and it was great! Loved the hummus and the gyro. :) Waitress was very sweet. Never ate in downtown... before, will definitely be back to explore. Only suggestion is update menu pricing. No big deal, totally understand howCovid has sent things out of wack. Read more

The people here are incredibly friendly! We had the gyro, hummus and a salad. The gyro was the best tasting one I have ever had.... The meat was so incredibly tender. Hummus was so smooth and the salad was great. On top of all this, the fries were alsoincredible and very crispy. 10/10 in my book Read more

This place has great food. I came here with my cousin and it was our second option since our first was closed. I ordered a Gyro... and my boyfriend got a falafel. We really wanted breakfast but it was 11 which is understandable I didn?t wanna serve it. Woulddefinitely stop here for very fresh Mediterranean food! Read more

I can't count how many times my chum and I looked around this restaurant in total confusion. Allendale Corner looks like a diner... that decided within the last week that it wanted to be something else. They have the luncheonette counter and stool setup thatyou associate with coffee, eggs, bacon and other standard American diner breakfast staples, but there's a makeshift banneroutside proclaiming it's a Mediterranean restaurant, and the menu is heavily influenced that way as well (the aforementionedbreakfast staples are there, but I'd say more as a supporting character). Also hinting at an odd transition - there was acollection of four or five hookahs just hanging out on the side of the counter. Were they there as part of a random decoratingscheme? Did the restaurant intend to circulate them amongst the customers later in the day? Unclear. We stopped by for brunchon a nippy Saturday morning. True to its name, it's right on the corner of a quiet small town roundabout that I assume is muchbusier during the week, especially since it's a block away from the train station. They don't have a foyer or partition toseparate the customers from the door outside, so it was still a little chilly at our table, despite being seated well into therestaurant - we kept our coats on throughout the meal. I ordered the Deluxe Allendale Platter, which was comprised of two eggs(scrambled), white toast, home fries and turkey sausage. It was just okay; the sausage and eggs were average and the toast in myopinion was overdone and a little tough to bite into. They also didn't come with butter, and we had to hail down the waitress toget some onto our table. The real star though was the home fries, very nicely seasoned with a Cajon flavoring. Definitely thebest item I had here. My chum had a cheesesteak wrap (also fine), with a side of fries that looked perfectly crispy. She was afan of the fries, so apparently this place's wheelhouse is the almighty potato. The service was okay (s Read more

Came here on a work trip. Decided to try this place out. I got the Allendale burger with cheese and bacon (bacon cheese burger... with egg on top) absolutely amazing. Fries were great too. I can not believe the entire meal was only $13 either. Definitelyworth it. Will be coming back next time I'm in town! Read more
