This kosher (under supervision of JSOR). dairy restaurant is in Allenhurst, NJ. It's seasonal and is open May to October. They... have an extensive menu of pizza, fish and pasta dishes. I went with my family there tonight. It's my first time at therestaurant. We were a party of 6. The food is generally very good. However, there were several issues. Guacamole was anappetizer on the menu but was not available. The side dish for my salmon sandwich was either roasted potatoes or a side salad. Irequested the roasted potatoes but received the side salad Another person in my party was told French fries were not availablebut it showed up in the entree. I was told Omlets were not available after 4: this was not noted on the menu. A 20percentgratuity was added to the menu. 15-18percent is usually added. There was also a 4 percent Credit card fee. I thought this was alot of issues for 1 dinner and as a result lowered it to 4 stars. Read more

Horrible Service (We were the only ones there, and it took over 35 minutes to get our food). Didn't have most of the stuff on... the menu. Small Expensive Portions. Read more

Down to Earth is the name and the philosophy. Dishes you're used to, made well. Middle of the week is less busy, which can be... important. One issue was the flies, door was wide open and there was no mitigation to prevent them coming in. I don't want tofight for my food against the pests :( Read more

Nice looking looking place, busy and very nice staff. The Bruschetta was very good, the guacamole was great but very small... portion. The veggie pizza was good and the vodka pizza was very plain. And the zuchini pasta was good. Read more
