4 stars are for if it was good, 3 if it was barely above acceptable, and 5 star are for the best of the best... The flavor... profile is out of this world. The best way I can describe it is akin to hearing great music - you don't know how it's made, butyou know it is awesome when you experience it. Start with "The Old Monterey". Price point is a conversation today. I find thevalue great, but it is over $10. The community is awesome. This place is Awesome!!! We found this joint while we were frequenting Allentown area 7 years ago. Every time we are down that... way we make the effort to go get something. I have been to this place twice and both times I have left very happy. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous.... They're homemade salsa is really tasty. The atmosphere is fun, too. It's not a great place to go if you want to have a quietconversation, but it's a great place to go if you're hungry. Some friends of mine love this place but it was just okay for me. I got a taco salad and it was good but the chicken was not... seasoned and tasteless. It was juicy and everything else was good but the chicken being tasteless broke it for me. I'll try itagain in the future and see if it changes. Read more

It was my first visit. We had the fish tacos and the shredded chicken taco both were wonderful. The homemade salsa bar was... great. We really liked the garlic salsa and the spicy hot salsa. Their fresh made chips are truly addictive. Read more
