I ran into Poke Kai while starving after a long day during my family vacation. After several days of eating junk, I just craved... a healthy, fresh, fulfilling meal - and I found it! I loved, loved, LOVED the food, but is the staff who makes this place reallyunique. The fish and veggies were super fresh, making the poke bowls delicious and tasty. I think I took too long to decide onmy custom poke, changing my order 2 or 3 times. That was no problem for Ana, who was so friendly and patient while I made up mymind. She was also super attentive to all the customisation required for my friend with food allergies - making sure to handlethe food with extra care. I asked Ana if we could get the kids' meals first so they could start eating and she delivered thosemeals super quickly and with a big smile. I was trying to find a place to eat with my family and friends after a day at Dorney Park, which was only about 5mins away. This... shop looks like a take out from the outside. There are some tables outside for outdoor seatings. The inside isn’t big, withonly a few 4 seaters tables. Then I was trying to grab a high chair for my 8mos old baby, but the two that I saw were soosticky. I rather she just sit on my husband or my lap. We ended up sitting outside, which I believe works better for my 8parties including 4 little kids and baby. But why did I still give a 4 stars. I believe the customer service here definitelyearns that. And their food isnt that bad at all too. So let’s talk about their customers service. The cashier or maybe eventhe manager (I’m not 100% sure on that though) was very friendly, very professional, and very patient with me. There were somecustomization with my food and drinks. It might have been a miscommunication between the cashier and the staff making the ordersby the bar. They quickly resolve that for me. Later on, I realized one of my drink was requested no ice because I plan onputting that into the fridge for tomorrow, which I mentioned to the cashier why I don’t want ice when I placed the order. Butthe drink came out with ice. I figured this is a small issue. At most, the drink might be somewhat diluted since by tomorrow,the ice for sure will all be melted. The cashier apologized and went back into the store and actually made me a new one withoutice this time! I was definitely not expecting that. Honestly, alot of other places would just apologize, or some don’t evenapologize, and would just leave it as that. This actions just tells me their customers service is superb! Food wise, their foodis not too bad. Of course I have been to better poke bowl restaurants, but around this area, Poke Kai really isn’t too bad.Both my husband and I ordered a custom poke bowl with 2 proteins. I love this place so much! I've eaten here MULTIPLE times and it's always SO GOOD it satisfies my cravings and hunger and it's... very fulfilling. Worth the price. ???? ???? Decent poke and sides. The tea selection is fairly large. We enjoyed two poke bowls, two appetizers and two tea drinks for... around $45. Definitely on the expensive side. Will we go back? Probably not... Read more
