We had the taco salad, very little meat in it. If you like eating lettuce with taco sauce you will like it.
Staff come and go, as with all fast food places, but the owners have always been great people and they make sure their staff... gets trained adequately to do their jobs well. Wait times are usually about average or shorter for food and the food itself isalways prepared fresh and hot for you. The spices they use in their different dishes makes everything absolutely delicious. I've been coming here since the early 90's and have to say that I legitimately can't remember the last time they got my orderwrong. The only downside is the same of most Taco John's and it's that the place itself is kinda small on the inside. Yetother than that it's clean, the food is enjoyable, the price is at or below what you'd expect to pay for what you get AND theirapp often offers great deals, too! However, I will say that for what's given, the prices aren't fantastic. They also similarlycharge you for every little thing, including charging you extra to make you oles without any seasoning. I have been to many restaurants in and around the Alliance Nebraska area. The alliance Nebraska taco John store is the only one... in the area who has had it correct 100% of the time, Even when I request special orders! That kind of attention to detail Andpride in your work, you don't see much of these days. The cleanliness of the store, And the attention to detail and to the needsand wants of the Customer , And the food is topshelf! Early Saturday morning I noticed the dining room side of this Taco Johns was open again after remodeling began months ago.... Turned around right away to park and to order breakfast inside, the first to be able to sit inside and eat since the re-do. Itwas the cleanest I've ever seen it in there, this restaurant that first opened in Alliance in 1969 when it was one of those tinyred buildings with narrow yellow slats running vertically and only walk-up ordering, TACOS emblazoned on the top of the sides(remember those little 12' x 30 huts? My small apartment has more space). Breakfast today was still too salty as are otherofferings on the menu. If Taco Johns would stand down 1/3rd on the salt then that's all that need be, but on some items likepotato oles it's manually shaken on, so we're at the mercy of the worker preparing it. Needs to be standardized, in my opinion.Plenty of hot sauce was provided to me as asked for, appreciated. I did not expect much out of this small, non flashy location. When I entered the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. ... The smells were great and inviting and the menus were simple to read. This felt like a small business in someone's kitchenrather than a fast food restaurant. I customize everything but when I asked for changes they smiled and worked to accommodate myrequest. Good food and customer service are so hard to find but not here. I really enjoyed the food and I'm excited to know aplace like this and exists in Alliance. I'll definitely be back. Read more
Would not go back, we ordered taco salads, very little meat. It was basically lettuce and very little meat. If you like lettuce... wit taco sauce this is for you. Read more
