I wanted to leave a review of three stars. However, our amazing server Lena made me change my mind. She?s a 5/5. She carried... herself in a very kind, professional manner. She was very helpful and was just absolutely amazing. She ran the entire restaurantand made it look easy. The food was subpar but Lena was hands down the best server I?ve ever had. Our waiter had a good attitude but it was like we were rushed the whole time I wanted to try some cocktails and didn't seem... welcomed to get anymore I only had 1 margarita that's it and was waiting for a smoothie when we get our bill and waiter cameover grabbed our money and I said keep the change and then dismissed us. My family and I visited your Applebee's restaurant in Alliance, OH and the experience was awful. It took forever for the... waitress to come to the table to order drinks. Once we ordered, the food took a very long time to come out. It should not havetaken that long for two steaks and a rice bowl. The two steak dinners were horrendous. The steaks were so over cooked, theylooked like disks with no seasoning. The shrimp in the tex-mex bowl were undercooked. They were undercooked to the point whereit was not safe to eat. My grandmother ordered coffee, and the mashed potatoes that came with the meal were warmer than thecoffee. Even the second cup of coffee was barely warm. The restaurant wasn't even busy to have such bad food. The manager ofthe restaurant was not even doing her job. She was chatting with other servers instead of checking on people. Server was excellent. Burger was good (hard to screw up a burger). They cannot seem to be able to cook a steak medium rare... however. So our lunch for two turned into a lunch for one, all for a measly $48! This is my second bad experience here in asmany visits. I will save my money and cook my own steaks before returning! Read more
i would give this a no star review but sadly i can not. I had come in for a nice dinner and ordered the whiskey bacon burger... with a ?little? bit of pink but when i took the first bite i could tell something was off with how ?done? my burger was, i guessa ?little? pink means raw here and to the chef who prepared it. Our server was nice but some of the food was overcooked - onion rings and cinna-minis specifically. The oriental chicken salad... was pretty dry but the fiesta lime chicken was tasty and cooked about right. I haven't been to Applebee's for a long while and Idon't know if I'll try it again soon.
