I eat at Chives frequently. Good food, excellently prepared. I have not had a bad meal there. My most recent meal was a pork... chop dinner special. A thick chop to die for, perfect baked potato and a huge side dish of fresh steamed broccoli. In additionthe wait staff have always been above and beyond with friendly, attentive service. The dining area is one open room, clean andsimple. I have not eaten on their patio. I really do recommend this restaurant for a good meal out. Read more
We got the nachos, jakes philly and the wings. Wings were very good a crispy nice flavor. But? we found quite a few hairs in the... nachos that were thick black an another hair in the Philly. Makes me wonder how actually clean their kitchen is.. won?t bereturning here. Read more
The decor is more "bar" than "restaurant" and I'm not sure I'd be as comfortable when a band was playing live music, but the... food was excellent. The strip steak was done exactly the way we asked and the fish tacos are *definitely* worth a return visit. Read more

Stars) Rachel was our waitress and she was very quick, polite, and on top of everything we needed without being over watchful.Great job even more so considering the place was crowded. The food is great tasting and well priced. Large portions. Beware ofthe chicken parm if you don't like tomatoes, it tastes wonderful but if you are like us you have to remove the giant chunks oftomato. The mac and cheese is hands down the best I've ever had. Everything we had was delicious and the choices areabundant. The drinks are just about average tasting but exorbantly priced. I think it was almost 8 bucks for a red bull andvodka. It is a bar though so if you expect differently you would be crazy. The long islands could use a bit of a helping hand.Not the best I've ever had by a long shot which is a shame because its a go to for many people. The beer...... Was beer. Hard tomess up beer. New to the area and stopped in here for lunch and a pint. Definitely have staffing issues (but who doesn't right now?) but still... enjoyed our experience. They have pool tables and a couple arcade games. They create a nice atmosphere for sure. Had a sandwichthat was decent and looking forward to trying more of their options. Beer selection is fine, not great, but fine. You can getpretty much any cocktail you could ask for. Looking forward to going back! Read more
First impressions will make or break you- I would have given a 4 star if it weren't for the unpleasant "welcome" we received... from a staff member. Wasn't even sure if we were going to be able to get service based on her "welcome" even though there wasplenty of space open in the place. We found our group that was there and the waitress we had was very attentive but lookedstressed. Food was actually decent. Like I said- first impressions will make or break you. Trying to make people feel welcomeinstead of unwelcome will go a long way, especially if its the first time they've ever stepped foot in your establishment. Read more
