Went back in October, food was spectacular. Was surprised how well the salmon was cooked. But no crayons for my daughter and she... was so upset so we had to go and buy some. Last time they didn't have regular milk for her either. I get there was some trainingbeing done but the service was really poor. Our salad never came the way we asked. Had nothing in it as well that it wassupposed to as a garden salad, instead they drenched it in dressing. Literally it was just lettuce and a lonely tomato when wesaid bo olives. Read more

The main course was good we had the chicken Parm ????. The salads we had though had that rusty look and tasted old. Our server... was slow, she had a good personality. She was just very slow. In all I wouldn't say it was a bad visit, more like it startedout disappointing. Then the main course helped us feel better about the experience and we left feeling not pleasntly surprisedbut relieved the whole meal wasn't bad. Our server gave is cold containers for hot food to go home with which melted on the wayhome. So yeah...... Read more

Service was amazing. The wedding soup and garden salad was all you can eat. Both very good. Had the chicken parmigiana with... penne. It hit the spot. Sauce was a bit acidic but good over all. Will definitely go back. Wed its all you can eat pasta, bread, salad and soup. $12.99. Where can you do better than that? Read more

It has taken me a week to write this review but now I think it is due. On July 13th around 11 am, I called and booked a... reservation for July 22 at 6:30 for 3 couples who would be celebrating their anniversaries. I told the young lady I was talkingto that we would be camping in the area but that we were coming from 3 different areas of Ontario. At first she put me on holdbut when she came back, she told me she had to find the book and her pencil. We joked about someone always taking ourpencils. When we arrived on July 22nd, we were told that they were not taking reservations and that they could not seat us atthat time as there was not enough staff to cover. From what we could see, there was only 1 table with people at it. I asked tospeak to the manager, some guy in a t-shirt with a tank top over it (real professional looking) and he told us the same thing, not taking reservations and they couldn't seat us for at least 20 minutes. He said he only had 2 servers and he didn't want tooverload them. One of my party asked if we could sit at the bar and we were told maybe in 20 minutes when they would be able toseat us. We asked if we could sit outside on the patio and were given the same information. We decided to leave my name andphone number and have them call us when a table became available. In the meantime, we spotted Montana's next door and were notonly greeted in a very professional manner but we were seated and had our drinks before East Side Mario's called. I havepurposely left out the name of the young lady I spoke to because none of this was her fault. I do believe East Side Mario's inAlliston needs to rethink their policies and share them with ALL STAFF. Oh yeah, our service at Montana's was FANTASTIC andincluded our waitress and the manager who helped her carry out some of our meals. One of our party dropped a Montana's businesscard back at East Side Mario's and mentioned to the person at the front door that they should go next door to Read more

Our service was lovely and food was fresh and tasty. The mixed drink menu is lacking and our dessert was old and stale. We had... the peanut butter stack- the chocolate cake was as crunchy as the peanuts on top. Still giving a 4 because the menu is notdecided by this individual restaurant and overall we had a nice dinner. Read more

UPDATE May 23, 2021 - ordered Italian Wedding Soup and initially shocked by the price and size of the soup bowl but it's my... favourite soup so I figured it would be worth it. No spoons or knife to cut the bread/spread the butter so we had to drive hometo eat it. Pasta was off colour and mush, broth was dark and salty and the meatballs melted in your mouth instantly ???? wasinedible except the bread. I swear they used can soup, nothing even close to how it normally was. Food was great howeverwaitress and manager ruined the experience for our mother and son date night when they refused to honor the $2 Tuesday kids mealdeal. Monthly tradition that we've had the last year when we visit Alliston for the movie theatre but looking into a new placeto try now. Read more

Let me start first by saying East Side Mario's is one of my all time favorite chain resteraunts. How ever, this particular... establishment is nothing short of absolutely disapointing. After an incident 2 years ago where my 4 year old son received apizza that was still frozen in the center after waiting over an hour and 15 minutes, when we brought it up we were verballyaccosted by the manager. I swore I wouldnt return. Tonight we happened to be in the area once again and my kids BEGGED to go toeast sides. We were seated quickly, our waitress was polite but extremely disorganized. We placed our orders, upon receivingour soup and salad we realized that we had no cutlery at the table, our waitress was unavailable until we were all done ourbread soup and managed to eat the salad with the tongs. That's alright we made due. Then we received our meals, I'll start bysaying that the food was at least cooked properly. How ever both of our dishes were missing key ingredients listed directly inthe title of the dish. My wife ordered pesto prosciutto pasta, the entire bowl of past had a single flake of proscuito about ahalf inch square, when we told the waitress we were told that it must be at the bottom and she turned her back on us and ignoredus when we told her that we dug through the entire plate and their was in fact none. I ordered the peppercorn mushroom alfredo.I received 2 slices of mushrooms in my entire dish. Due to my previous experiences at this establishment we were essentiallyscared to ask to tell the manager about our disappointment. Read more
