Oh their mala hot pot is a must must try. Its my go to food and never disappoints. Definitely a must visit when in boston.
Went to this place with a friend who introduced me to various items on the menu. If you are non-Chinese, I can recommend few of... dishes on the menu which are good. Try the kung pao chicken, Mala dry pot, Schezwan spicy cold noodle, mantou (my fav). Lovedthe spicy-ness of food. Definitely a lot to try from the menu. I will visit again and explore them. No need for reservations butit can get pretty busy on weekends. Read more

Their kong pao chicken used to be my all-time favorite, but maybe they changed the chef. It still taste okay.
I visited here again! I'm here bc I couldn't stop thinking of fried rice that I ate here. I go by with my friends so we order... all kinds of fried rice, and everything is excellent. This place is fantastic... the food is delicious in every way and the service was fast and friendly. We had such a good meal... that when we finished we ordered more food to go so we could enjoy it again tomorrow. We will be back ASAP. Best Dan Dan noodlesI've had in 10+ years. We ordered our standard Sichuan choices but will definitely dig deeper into the menu next time and can'twait to try the hot pot. we’ve been going to Mala for years now. i occasionally try other schezuan restaurants but they have nothing on Mala.... everything tastes soooo good here, definitely worth a try. i dont think i will ever find a place that will match up to theflavors Mala brings to the table. Read more
[5/5, Allston, MA] Look at the size of that bowl - it’s ridiculous. $40 for that bowl. For the first time in my life, I wished... a mala spicy pot had more vegetables.
