Ordered an iced honey lavender latte and was given a drink that visibly had 2 inches of syrup on the bottom. Thought that maybe... it just hadn't been mixed yet so I stirred it and discovered the drink was CHUNKY. (And no, it wasn't boba) Not sure if thesyrups were old or if it was the milk.. either way it was a little disturbing. Luckily my husband's drink wasn't chunky so wecould at least share that. Ordered a Vietnamese Boba, non-dairy. The Barista was very informative (I don?t remember their name :( but was very helpful in... helping make my drink dairy free and not so sweet. I highly recommend this drink, very good! Excellent customer service. Wasgreeted walking in by waitstaff and possibly owner? Very welcoming! I love your new location, has a lot of room. Will definitelybe returning, hopefully will be able to catch one of the shows soon that they host here. Thank you! Read more

First off, the Vietnamese Boba is outstanding. I wasn?t expecting the coffee jellies to be cubes but I?m not complaining. Others... have left bad reviews talking about price but you get what you pay for. I don?t mind that I spent $18 on two Vietnamese Bobas(not to mention that one was nondairy), because of how well made they were. Even the ice is fancy! If you expect a fancy bobadrink for $2 then you should manage your expectations. Drinks aside, I want to highlight how impactful it is to have a spacethat is so clearly queer-centered in town. Growing up in this area I WISH I would have seen this type of establishment, itprobably would have saved me years? worth of internalized homophobia. I am also grateful that they host Drag Nights in a placethat is (to my knowledge) alcohol-free. And any locals who aren?t down with the fact that these performances happen are free togo elsewhere because Highland Blush is a queer space that this part of Michigan desperately needs, whether they want to admit itor not. It also helps that the drinks are spectacular. I?ve not lived in this area for a long time but from now on when I visitI will be making a stop here before I leave. Read more

Excellent service, good food, lovely atmosphere. We showed up unannounced with a group of 7 for breakfast, and Damien was the... only employee working. He kindly let us know that he was on his own, and proceeded to serve us as best as he could, which wewere all more than pleased with. In summary, maybe give this place a heads up phone call if you plan to bring a group, butexpect nothing less than a great experience regardless. Read more

Highland Blush now has in-person dining for drinks and food in beautiful Downtown Alma. The coffee me and my friends has this... past weekend was PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend the pumpkin cinnamon latte. The owner was the sweetest and was so nice to chatwith while inside. The decor is to die for and there?s lots of board games to play with your friends and family. Couldn?t thinkof a better coffee shop in the greater Central Michigan area! Read more

The 5 stars are all earned. Great atmosphere, definitely inviting and relaxing. Was not there for a show but the stage looked... fun. There are 2 booths in the windows that I especially recommend. The food was a big surprise as they had fun and uniqueoptions. Read more
