A brewery in a reclaimed church? That got us in the door. But make no mistake this is no gimmicky brewery. Coming from... Victoria, BC where we have an amazing craft beer scene my expectations are high. All local beer so far in PEI and NB has beenunderwhelming until now. I had a flight and every beer was fantastic. This place is awesome. I didn?t even realize at first that it?s an old church. So I was very amused by the Holy Whale name and... decor once my husband told me. The tables have original pews for chairs. My husband liked his beer. I don?t like beer butsampled the skittle one and I liked it! Just a heads up that they don?t really have food. Pretzels, pickled eggs and pickledsausages. But we weren?t there for food. Definitely worth a stop! Read more
