Best Chinese food, we won't eat anywhere else!
Got food poisoning.. saw that they grow vegetables in back next to dumpster
Food is always delicious, and you can't beat the price. Highly recommend.
Entrees and sides were amazing as always. The egg drop soup however should probably have its recipe looked at and changed. WAY... too thick, way way way too much egg. It’s egg drop, not bowl of thick half-cooked/half-raw egg. Usually it has a thinner brothwith light egg (hence the drop) and usually garnished with green onion and a little sesame oil for flavor. Although I know theyvary slightly restaurant to restaurant, usually there’s a consistency in what you kind of expect to see, and this just was sofar off of what I’ve ever gotten; I couldn’t eat it. I used to work in an upscale pan-Asian cuisine restaurant, so maybetheir soup made my expectations high. Other than the soup, everything else was excellent including service. Friendly and quick.Not trying to badger them or give them a hard time by any means, but I can’t imagine I am the only person who is thinking it;So it’s better to say it and give them a chance to see what people are thinking. I have been here maybe 20 times since moving to the area a few years ago. I have never had a problem. We have always received... the items we ordered and the food has been tasty. Family run they work hard and my walk in food order is always ready on 20minutes or less. I reserve my 5 star ratings for the best restaurant’s so being a small strip mall style, mainly take out,with really good but not what I would call exceptional food, I have to give them a little less than 5 stars. First visit here and it was wasted money. Couldnt even eat the pad thai because the smell was so bad. I know its odd but it... smelled like barn animals. I tried one bite and it tasted how it smelled. I was nauseated the rest of the night. Ive never hadbad pad thai from anywhere else. My bf is not picky at all and couldnt even pretend to enjoy his dish either. Was hoping to finda decent chinese/thai food close to home as there are not many local options, but sadly this was not it. Almont's little gem. We needed this restaurant badly. So happy they're here because the food is ALWAYS great here. The workers... are very friendly and the service is fast. Quality of the food is excellent! Fried rice loaded with vegetables. We've triedabout half the menu now and nothing has been bad. When they first opened up a few years ago, we had some chicken that might nothave been fully cooked all the way through, but they remade the order no questions asked, and it came out perfect. My husband and I live in Richmond and this restaurant is WORTH the drive!! So far, I have tried 3 different types combos and I... loved each one. The portions are extremely generous, and the prices are great. The quality and size of the beef and chicken theyuse is very hard to find in a takeout place.
