Black Rock was pretty busy about 10:30am today, considering it was Saturday. It wasn't too much if a wait tho, about 10 minutes.... All in all, BR is a good place to get a good coffee. Read more
6 star to be real here, I got a shake an scone. Service was on point, drink was delicious and the scone was fire.
I would give negative points if that was possible for the experience I had this morning. This rating has nothing to do with the... taste of the coffee. I?m giving this location this rating because they are trying to rob me. I used a visa gift card to purchase2 drinks this morning. Then the employee that processed the payment told me the payment did not go through on the gift card andasked me if I had a different way to pay. So I handed him a regular credit card I use. When I got home with the drinks I thoughtthere was something wrong with the gift card and went online to check it out and to my disbelief it showed a pending transactionfrom Black Rock Coffee. So I drove back with a copy of the transaction and the employee that served me told me that meansnothing and that when he swiped the card it was being denied. Then after I got home from our hike I decided to check to see ifthe payment went through and went online again and sure enough it showed a completed transaction from Black Rock Coffee. SoBEWARE to anyone that is told one payment is not going through and them asking for a different payment. They are trying tocharge you twice. Read more
The coffee was always of good quality. Unfortunately I've had to end my business with Black Rock entirely because they allow... their employees to have dogs lick their hands in the drive-thru while the employee holds a dog treat with a closed fist. Thenafter they allowed the dog to eat the treat from their hand, the employee goes on to pet the dog, with their hands all over theanimal. Then the employee does not wash their hands but instead starts handling drinks, straws, and the company iPad. What'sworse, is that I've witnessed this at more than one Black Rock location. I strongly prefer to have my expensive coffee withgenerous tip served to me without dog snot and saliva, but hey ... that's just me. I hate leaving bad reviews but this isdisgusting and goes way over the line of acceptable and safe food handling practices, and likely deserves to be reported theappropriate food safety agency. One of my favorite coffee places. Coffee is always served perfectly. Staff is friendly and they definitely know how to keep the... line moving. The vibe is upbeat and they usually have some music playing, but they keep it low enough to hear your order. Fivecars in line is often the case, but the wait is no more than a few minutes, and worth it every time. Be sure to get the loyaltypunch card. It will be full before you know it. Read more
this one location in particular is my fav! they always make the best drinks and all the people are so nice...we go every day :)
