I went to this location by myself, just after 5pm today. They were not busy, only a few tables occupied. I was seated fairly... quickly and Mariah was my waitress. Mariah was friendly and efficient and did her job very well. I would give her a 5 out of5 stars and if I went back there, I would like her for my waitress. I ordered the Big Boy hamburger, but they were out of onionrings so I settled for fries. Never was a fan of the fries but I went with them anyway. The sandwich was very good...not asmuch sauce on it as I remember, but very good otherwise. That's the good. As I said, they were not busy and seemed to haveplenty of help (but yes, as with most every business, they do have signs up asking for more employees). As I was sitting at mytable I noticed the mirror next to me had numerous handprints on it. The table next to me had an open, half used jam packetlaying on the floor with a lot of food crumbs and a dessert menu. I could see other table with food scraps and stuffunderneath them. Also, while I was waiting for my Big Boy, one of the waitresses was putting a childs chair on top of anotherand she was wiping the seat and stuff off. I could not help but notice that the bottom of it that stabilized it on the floorwas filthy. Could be just scratched up (plastic) or whatever, but it actually looked like no one has actually cleaned thelegs/feet of either of those chairs in quite some time. They were filthy, to say the least. So, the sandwich was good, thewaitress was good and they were not busy. My thought is that someone (mgt.) needs to pay attention to details such ascleanliness. Would I go back? I guess if I walked in and paid attention to those items I just mentioned and they still weren'tclean, I would go elsewhere. Read more
Unfortunately the menu was different, than what could be ordered. The turkey sandwich is supposed to come with turkey gravy and... there was none available. The turkey looks like hash browns fryed. There's more to be said however, bottom line is my wife and Iwas very disappointed. Get up to standard Big boy with a little "b" ! The waitress gets a A+. with a good tip. We use to love going here, but it's really gone downhill. Food quality was poor. Service was alright. The boss or whoever he... was, was talking to another employee about why he split her and another girls shifts due to them not working while together wasprobably a conversation for the office not in front of customers Read more
Had dinner here last Thursday. Ordered the fish and chips and it was..... actually, quite marvelous! The fish is battered, not... breaded. It's rather like beer batter but stays together better. Just the right crunch and flavor without coming across asgreasy. Honestly one of the better fish and chips I've ever had. Kudos to Big Boy and the awesome servers we had. Went back forbreakfast the next day and my meat-lovers omelette was delicious. Generous meat filling. Their rye toast is a must-try. Richwith a dense texture and well buttered! Will definitely return when I'm in the area again. Also: Our waitress told us theyshould be reinstating their weekend breakfast bar soon!!! I'd come back just for that. Read more
Food is what you would expect. Price is acceptable for what your getting. We love taking the kids. Staff is friendly.
My husband and I went there for breakfast and a bit after we were seated the waiter Dustin came to our table and took our drink... and food order. He said he was going to put in the food order before he grabbed our drinks, which was perfectly fine. Well hethen goes to another table where a family was seated took their drink orders and immediately brought them out to them. Wehadn?t gotten ours yet..hmm..so I got his attention and asked if we could get our drinks. Long story short we weren?t pleased. Our food was brought out and I can?t even?I wouldn?t serve what was brought out but I guess everyone has different standards. One of the best Big Boys I have ever been to! They seemed kind of busy, but our food came quick. Food was made very well and... with care. Friendly staff all over the restaurant. Floors where clean, once costumers left a table, a staff member was right ontop of getting it cleaned before new costumers came in. Will definitely be returning to this restaurant. Read more
First time there and our waitress did a great job with refills considering they were short staffed. Had the buffet for... breakfast. It was late being put out but worth the wait. Read more
