We've enjoyed Domino's for years and were glad to see one in Alpena. We've ordered from them many times and unfortunately won't... be doing so anymore. The quality started off great but lately we've been getting soggy pizza, lack of toppings, salad that hasgone so bad it's inedible, etc. First time we figured it was a fluke and were patient, but it's become a regular thing. Evenworse they ask you for feedback and when we gave it to them, no response at all. It's a shame because when they have qualitycontrol it's really good, but I can't justify spending good money to get bad food from a business that doesn't care on the offchance I get a decent order again. Three strikes and your out! We bought from them when they first opened. We waited a while as they would not be so busy. They got... our order wrong. And we did not like the sauce. This one today OMG it was paper thin on the bottom and the crust was thick! Thesauce had a spice to it and my husband can?t have that! Hardly any mushrooms or ham on it. Nope we are done!!!!! Disgusted with the service, but happy with the taste of the food. I ordered online, curbside, and followed their Tracker... directives for pick up. I waited until the time my order was projected to be ready and then went inside the store. I was told itwould be a few minutes yet. I pointed out my car just outside the door and asked they deliver it to me once it was finished. Ipatiently waited, and 20 minutes later I went back inside. I was told there was an errror made and they had needed to remake oneof my pizzas. (You'd have thought they might have communicated that to me via phone or visiting my car just outside the door.)They scrambled for the order and offererd no apology for the delay. I inquired about a free pizza offer they showed online forthe excessive wait time. They hemmed and hawed but finally relented and 'wrote my name in their book,' for a future order. Oncehome, we found that the pizzas were good but they had forgotten to give us the sauce for the plain chicken wings. Ugh! Read more
Had the BEST experience! I called from 2000 miles away, and started my order. It was for an Alpena delivery. The guy on the... phone was awesome, giving me a chance at saving money and getting MORE, and then on top of everything else, it was delivered HOTand on time, to the Deeds office in town. The service was perfect, and according to the ladies, hot and delicious. Topperformance!!! Read more
Pizza is always good. Definitely 1 of the best in town. Delivery is always quick. Where else can you get a pizza and a peanut... butter brownie delivered to your door at 1:30am? Their stuffed cheesy bread alone is worth placing an order.. Read more
The food is good when they 1, get the order right the first time around, and 2, when they actually feel like delivering it.... Tonight's experience has put me over the line of "never again". Ordered food a good 90 minutes before store closing. I watchedthe app and the order tracker as it went from bake, quality check, then suddenly CANCELLED. Their reason? "The roads arent safeand i only have 1 driver". So is that why you baked the order, checked it, AND THEN cancelled it? I happen to know these placeshave the capability to disable delivery orders through their website/app. But they didn't. Customer lost! Plain and simple. Iget it that safety is priority, but if you cant deliver food then why leave the app/website capable of placing delivery orders? Read more
