Remember these are kids working jobs not 5 star Michelin star cooks. If you want hot food and decent customer service, visit one of the other two McDonald's in Alpena. The food was cold and the... customer service was horrible. I ordered my food at the drive thru window and as soon as I drove away and I found my fries werecold so I went inside to exchange them for hot fries. The girl at the counter was rude and didn't want to give me new fries soI asked for a manager. I told the manager I wanted hot fries instead of cold fries and I thought her employee owed me anapology. The manager told me "she is not going to apologize to you and if I make her she will quit." She did give me some hotfries (1/2 the order) and tossed them in my bag. I called later that day to talk to the owner and had to leave a message. The food is always usually pretty good and the managers are respectful but this place hires some of the biggest idiots! After... repeating my short simple order over 3x they still had it wrong but I was hungry and just took what they had on the screen.Finally got my order and there was a hair on the inside of my milkshake you could see on the side of the cup. The manager wasembarrassed and was very kind and personally made a really good one and made another for the unusually bad visit.
