Food was great! I have allergies (trace amounts don't usually bother me) and they were careful to make sure my food was done... correctly. Everything tasted amazing and was fresh off the stove. Where do I start? Went on a Thursday night and restaurant was empty. Thought they were closed. Went inside and they happened to... be open. Sat down immediately and were given menus. When she came to get our orders she said she wasn’t sure why she gave usmenus as they were out of most things. So she read off a list of 4 things they still had. Nothing else around was open so wejust made the best of it. My wife ordered a burger(well done) with pineapple and bacon and I ordered pork chops. My pork chopswere burned to a crisp but yet mashed potatoes were cold????. Wife’s burger was rare and only had cheese. When she inquiredabout the missing bacon they brought her another that was cooked correctly and included all correct fixins. I’m half expectingto get sick within the next 3-4hrs so if I don’t I’ll add another star. This place was weird. Stopped in for lunch after accidentally stumbling on this place. The thing that caught my attention was a little chalkboard on... the curb stating there were 10 dollar lunch specials. I walked in to a relatively empty place but it was beautiful. Amberbehind the bar welcomed me warmly and I had a seat. We had a large group of 11, but there were only 2 other customers in the whole place. The entire evening was really slow and... disjointed. All salads ordered came out after the meals were mostly eaten. I only ordered a bowl of soup and a side salad. Itcame out as everyone else was finished eating and they charged me for a full dinner salad. The soup was delicious, but the saladdressing was inedible. We had a great experience at Firefly. We were on our way home and saw a beautiful building and literally the name firefly drew... us to the light! I'm not kidding ???? so we go in and sit at the bar. Asha had the best energy right away and after talking toher about what I had a taste for, she was a great bartender who knows what people want. My husband and myself had such awonderful time in this beautiful, high ceiling, bar/restaurant that we will definitely be back to try the food! Asha mentionedthey have live music on the weekends. They just recently opened a few weeks ago from Covid and I'd really like to see them dowell. Please, if you are in the area, try Firefly! The ambiance, the patio, the bathrooms, the service will not disappoint. Wecan't wait to go back. We looked at the menu and already have at least 6 things we want to try! Can't wait to return.
