My SO and I, both African-American, decided to get lunch takeout from the Alpharetta location today (10/24). It would be our... first visit and a very unpleasant experience. This will be our last visit.  We both knew what we wanted to order, because wereviewed the menu online. We arrive around 1230. The restaurant was empty. Three caucasian females entered the establishmentdirectly following our arrival and were therefore in line behind us to order. The staff member (a female with dark brown hairand wears a nose ring) came from the back. She met me at the register with an unfriendly and unpleasant demeanor. Her attitudetowards us was cold and unfriendly as if we were not welcome at the restaraunt. She did not ask to take our order or greet us.Although she said nothing I greeted her with a friendly smile and said "hello". While placing my order she continued to projectthis hostile attitude and stare, but remained silent until she stated our total. We paid for the order and seated ourselves. Shethen, with a pleasant and welcoming demeanor, took the 3 females? orders. My spouse and I notice the stark difference betweenthe way we were treated and the three customers following us. The three young ladies stood near the side door.   After approx15 min. The same worker reappeared and proceeded to pleasantly serve all 3 females first. Her demeanor was pleasant and warm andshe thanked them. She then walked away and grabbed our food from the back. She returned to us with the previous cold,distasteful and unwelcoming demeanor that she previously presented to us. When she brought our food, she did not "thank us" forour patronage, like the previous customers, or say anything. Terrible service due to the unkind and dismissive nature of the owners. Food was bland ( chicken ) not tasty at all. We all... ordered the same thing and was very much underwhelmed. We frequently buy kale salad from different restaurants, yet for taste,cost, and not so great experience this restaurant doesn?t make the mark to be one we would return for their salad or anythingwith chicken. Friendly staff. Tuna wrap is awesome ($11.50). Get them to grill it for you and you will absolutely love it. The watermelon cold... pressed juice will make you slap your moma, "Come here mama"????????????($7.50) The downside happe s to be the smoothies. I paidalmost $10 for a smoothie that was not flavorful nor was the size warranted for the price. But I suggest that you go and try itfor yourself. Read more

Had a wonderful lunch at ?Kale Me Crazy? in downtown Alpharetta this afternoon, and look forward to going again later this week.... Vegan Wrap and a Go Green juice. If I could eat one meal for the rest of my life, it?d be the salmon avocado toast from kale me crazy. If you are in Alpharetta,... you?d be missing out to not stop here. I also love their golden latte. This is food that tastes so good, you can?t believe it?shealthy. I always feel good after eating here. No guilt. The people who work here are also kind. The place is kept neat andclean. Love everything this store stands for in terms of providing food that is real and unprocessed. I was recommended Kale Me Crazy as a local health food option by Marie of Oya Yoga (another fantastic place I recommend!) I... ordered the poke bowl that costs $14.50 and the Warrior smoothie that costs $9.50 for pick up. The place is more trendy andupscale being located in the heart of Alpharetta so it?s a bit more pricy for the portioning- but the quality was great! Thetuna tasted fresh and was aesthetically presented well. The Warrior drink is like a McDonald?s small size but it was superdelicious, vegan, and looked like it was made with care. I would love to learn how to make it myself. The front desk girl Soeilw/ the white sneakers and jeans who gave me my order was friendly. The indoor decor is chic and the music played includedEmpire of the Sun and The Naked and Famous. Never been to Kale Me Crazy, but this was a wonderful first experience! Brendon was so amazing! He recommended a few hot choices... for me from the menu. His attitude, kindness, and service was what made my overall lunch great!!
