What a great dining experience. The building is very impressive with a luxury bayou atmosphere and the right mix of elegance... with rustic touches. The staff was impeccable and my server was amazing. I ordered the Gumbo with shrimp and andouille sausagefollowed by shrimp and grits. Honestly I wished we picked somewhere else to eat after all the hype behind this place. To no fault of the servers this place... was a let down. Highly disappointed by both drinks ordered that were unfortunately just nasty and comparative to drinking purerubbing alcohol. The spinach dip was decent, my grouper decent, and I was just really not impressed by the fried fish I tastedthat my mom ordered. It seemed like fish that could be ordered from a fast food spot. Went specifically for drinks and appetizers one evening. The dining room had a decent amount of folks and the bar area was full.... We had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a booth around the bar. I was surprisingly pleased with the appetizers we ordered whichincluded the Crab & Spinach Dip (excellent!), Jumbo Lump Crabcakes (loved the sauce and capers!) and the Mozzarella Cheese Bites(a HUGE serving!) Outstanding food and service! We had a late lunch / early dinner on Friday to celebrate a milestone and this was an excellent... dining experience. We were seated right away and our server was at our table within a couple of minutes - excellent servicethroughout. Every aspect of the meal was excellent - from the shrimp cocktail all the way to the brownie with ice cream. Oursalads had big chunks of bacon on them and the dressings were excellent. My steak was cooked perfectly and my wife?s fish dishwas tasty as well. Read more
Pappadeaux is absolute delicious! The atmosphere is great, and the service was incredible. All of the staff was so nice. I have... a tree nut allergy, and after I let my waitress know, the manager personally greeted me and explained that all my dishes andappetizers were nut-free; he was very nice and told me what to look out for in case I planned on ordering anything else. TheShrimp and Crawfish Fondeaux with Garlic Bread was delicious; all of our entrees were amazing. I especially recommend thecrawfish combination on the lunch menu. Overall, all the crawfish dishes are so tasty. If you?re ever craving good seafood, youwill not regret coming to Pappadeaux. Read more
